Trivia: Kyo was found by Nue when she was four years old. He was residing in a cold wet cave as he was shivering and starving to death. One day, when Nue was training, she heard Kyo's whimpering and explored the cave until she found him curled up in a ball. Seeing the state he was in, she carried him back to her house and nursed him back to health. Hotaru found out about this and allowed Nue to keep him as long as she agreed to take care of him. Kyo grew up quite quickly and had a knack of getting in Nue's way just to annoy her. At some point, Nue couldn't take it anymore and started punishing him. This made Kyo fall in love with Nue because of the amount of ways she punished/tortured him. This caused him to become masochistic. After being tortured in more ways than one, Kyo fell in love with pain and begged Nue to let him become her summoning; He begged her to the point she felt annoyed with him and agreed. The collar, chains, and scars on his body are a reminder to Kyo of what will happen the next time he annoys Nue. 

-Nue's father is the only one who doesn't know of his existence... or does he? ;)

-Kyo is madly and obsessively in love with Nue.

-He likes to spend most of his time in grassy fields so he can roll around in them.
