Trivia: Just like the Lady, the Mother is able to perform dark magic. However, she does not wear a mask. Instead, most of her face is covered by her hair.
-The Mother has the ability to bring people back from the dead and travel to other places via mirrors. At the same time, she can see the world from the outside through the mirrors.
-While the Lady remains in her quarters, the Mother is left to care and look after the children of the Maw. Sometimes, she would send Roger (the Janitor) after the runaway children who try to escape.
-When the Mother found the dead body of a Nome, and realized it was the Runaway Kid, she used her magic to return him to life and to his human form. While she had the Runaway Kid sleeping from the transformation, she traveled to the Pale City to retrieve Mono.
-The Mother tries to make a home for the children as best she can while her sister, the Lady, entertain the Guests that enter the Maw.
-The children of the Maw adore the Mother more than the Lady.
-After learning that Six was behind the demise of Mono and the Runaway Kid, the Mother grew to despise Six. However, because of her love for children, she couldn't bring herself to harm her.
-The Mother makes sure Six does not encounter any of the children, fearing she would hurt or eat them.
