(Yugi's beloved wife part 2) the past returns

It had been a few days since Yugi's last trip to civilization thus he was now packing essentials for the journey...well...he was trying, to say the least. (y/n) always hated it when her mate had to leave for long periods of time and did whatever she could to keep it from happening. " C' mon (y/n) you know I have to take care of business on the surface. " Yugi said as he kept his wife from taking clothes out of the suitcase for the third time as she pouted in dismay. " Never, you don't need the surface when we have everything that we need to survive here. Honestly, I don't think I will ever understand why humans need to do the craziest things this being one of them." (y/n) said throwing her hands into the air in dismay gaining a chuckle from her lover who wrapped his arms around her. " I know and there are many things I will never understand about your kind either love...but look on the bright side I'm only going to be gone for a couple weeks instead of months like last time," Yugi said earning a groan from his spouse who just hanged her head in defeat and tried to just pout off her frustration. " Don't remind me, I would have wrecked that ship if you hadn't threatened me with no cuddle time for fifty years. Oh, savage mate of mine, your cruelty knows no bounds. " (Y/n) said as Yugi burst into laughter it sounds echoing through the hallways while (y/n) just stared at her husband from the corner of her eye before shaking her head at him. Soon his laughter died down as he wiped away imaginary tears before approaching his lover, arms wrapped around her waist he pulled her close.

Yugi's Pov: I forgot how lonely (y/n) could get when I'm not around, most of her kind only see each other on certain occasions and her parents are.....I sighed as buried my face into her neck before scooping her up into my arms heading towards the bed. " I know that things seem grim sweetheart but try to think of all the positive things my dear, I promise to bring back those souvenirs you seem to like so much. " I said trying to brighten her mood only to receive silence as my response, with another sigh escaping my lips as I laid on the bed bring (y/n) down with me. " Sweetheart please talk to me...I can't function right knowing you're upset with me." I said running my fingers through her hair trying to think of ways of getting her to talk when an idea came to mind, bringing my face down I buried my face into her neck leaving a trail of kisses in my wake all the way to her collarbone feeling her pulse quicken under my touch. Relishing the effect I had on her, quickly tightening my hold on her knowing all too well that she would try to escape from past experience. Not a moment too soon did I feel her struggle against me a slight hiss leaving her as she tried to get away but, I held on not pausing in signs of affection as I went from her collarbone down to her stomach responding to any slight gestures and singles she gave through her actions. 'This is going to be fun and not a moment too soon, ' I thought as I continued in my own ambitious assault of love....a delicious idea indeed..ha,ha...ha.

(y/n)'s Pov: I refuse to yield to his attempts, nothing good can ever come from dealing with so many off landers I should know since I have been given such a pleasant experience in the past. Ugh, if I had my way we would just be living our happy life here but nnnnnoooo, Yugi just had to have interaction with other humans I mean come on they pollute and plunder their own resources, letting their greedy ambition take first priority. While there are some humans that do care about the earth, but even some of them have become somewhat.....how do I put this..well, I won't say. Anyway, I really don't approve of him leaving, end of story...I thought but my musings were interrupted when my neck was suddenly assaulted by said mate causing me to release a surprised hiss and I tried to get away only to see he had a tight grip on me, tossing and turning I tried to get loose but it proved to be futile as he brought me closer, his lips assaulting my neck like a typhoon on a stormy sea. Senses clouding I soon found myself succumbing to his advances and our bond was tipping things in his favor....man, DO I hate it when it makes me go soft when I.....I..oh, forget it. I thought as I gave in fully to my mate's advances.

No one's Pov: Yugi stepped out of the airport a grim look overtaking his features as he looks around the city he once lived in, the many changes almost leaving the area unrecognizable. Taking a deep breath he began making his way towards the museum.
