Crazy Day

No one talked the entire day. Not even the teachers. Did I miss something? What is going on. Why is everyone so scared. It is just a death. I mean you can be shaken up. But this? This is crazy to the max.

I was walking to lunch when it got even crazier. All the lights turned off. No one screamed. But we all stopped. Then the loud speaker came on.

"Infection." It whispered. No one moved. If we screamed, who knows what would happened. Then a teacher opened his door and grabbed me.

It slowly shut.

"You must leave."

"What? Why me? Why not everyone?"

"He wants you."

"Where do I go?"

"Just run and do not stop. Someone will find you. Maybe good, maybe horrible. Our lives depend on you."

"Why?"

"Hopefully you never find out. Now go."

I was stunned. Then I herd a bang and jump. I saw the a thing that came from nightmares. It was a red demon. It was claws as long as my arm. Super pointy teeth. It kinda looked fated, like a ghost. I have no idea what to call it. Then I saw the shinny silver necklace. It was Vinny's necklace.

"RUN! IT IS BETTER IF YOU NEVER FIND OUT!"

I ran. I ran right put the window the teacher opened for me. I herd Vinny pounding on the door. I almost slayed right I into what I guess what his sister, because it had her purple bracelets. I ran around her.

BANG BANG BANG BANG

Gun shots fired as police man surrounded the school. Great. Just great. Now how do I run?

"STOP ROSE!"

I freeze. It was Kevin's voice. He appeared next to a police man. Guns continued to shoot.

"Kevin?"

"They forgot to say something on the news! If they scratch you, the red lines creep across your skin. Then you have seconds left. The infection then turns you into that."

"Why are they after me?"

"You are not supposed to be told that."

Why can't I know the most important thing? Why? I need to know that!

"OK where do I go?"

"Follow me and Sandy!"

Sandy was in some sort of armor. It looked like police man armor. She was caring a gun.

"Sandy..."

"Shush. We are your protectors. By the way, we are making a five minute trip to your house. ONLY FIVE MINITES. It can run fast. Get the most important and leave. You are never going there again."

My heart sinks. I love that place. Why wouldn't I? It is my home after all. Where do I live now? Why me? Why?Rose leads me to my house. I grab pictures, a stuff animal cat, a few books, and other meaningful things. They are personal so...

We leave with 1 minute to spell. I can hear them coming. I do not even look. I might freeze. If I even think about what is going on I will freeze. And then I am dead. But out of no where some man came and threw a smoke bomb.

"Let's move out!"

He is way out of my league, but he sure is handsome.
