Fear

"THEY WHAT!"

Now I realize maybe it WAS better not to tell me.

"Rose! Calm down just think..."

I try to listen to Kevin but all of a sudden Zander kisses me. I worked. I was no longer in fear. I was in love. The kiss was longer than I expected. And as time went on, his lips became more relaxed. He put his hand on my check and continued. I got out of the shock and started yo relax as well. Then Sandy came in and ruined everything.

"Stop it already. No need to swallow the girl. Get away from her creep."

I looked at him. His eyes fceing the ground. I could tell he was blushing. Probably embarrassed. But I could tell he did not want it to stop.

"Don't we need to get going?"

"Kevin is right. We need to move. They will track us. But since it was short, it was not strong. So they will not be running here. Let's move team."

As everyone gets there things ready, I think about all the crazy stuff happening. Am I somehow special? If there are others like me, what do we all have in common? Are Vinny and Vicky  apart of "the others"?. I have so many questions.

"If you every get scared, just kiss me."

As I was about to say a sexy yes, Sandy HAD to but in.

"Just hold hands. NO KISSING."

Zander looked at her like she was crazy. Kevin shrugged.

"Just go with it. She is holding a gun."

So we held hands.

"Zander, may I ask how old are you?"

"20. I am a college drop out. I wanted to do this instead. I am better at this."

Nice. I am 15 and scored a 20 year old. It makes me sad how close Vinny was to being 14..... just one week.

"And what exactly is "this"?"

"Ummmm. That gets complicated."

"What exactly CAN you tell me? Anything?"

"No."

"Great."

He looked at me as I turned away, mad. I just want to know SOMETHING. Knowledge is power people. And I need power.

"Sorry. I do not make the rules. Also..."

BAM!

"OW!"

"Sorry, thought it would make you pass out. Maybe I should Have hit you in the head instead of the nose."

My nose was bleeding so fast. I think my dream boy just broke my nose.

"WHAT THE HACK MAN! WHAT WAS THAT FOR."

Kevin and Sandy are stunned. This was obviously not planned.

"You can not know where we are going."

"SO YOU HIT ME!"

"Yeah, so you will pass out."

All of a sudden a huge crack dang though the forest we where in. We all look back. I caught a red thing moving....

"ROSE RUN!"

Zander gun goes off as soon as he says it. I guess I was in fear when Zander hit me. Bad move Zander. Bad move. I decided to do something stupid. It is time I faced these fears. I can not run forever. My legs hurt so much.

I take Sandy's gun away and aim. I start shooting Vinny.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING RUN!"

"NO POINT. I CAN NOT RUN...."

I was about to say forever as Zander scoops me up. He hands the guns to Sandy and Kevin. Then my fear rises.

They. Get. Scarier.

The change into things with a creppier smile, longer claws, sharper teeth, darker eyes, more skinny, taller,  get a darker red. All things out of night mares. My fear HAS to be at an all time high. And then it gets dark. It was morning two minutes ago. Then it hits me. They are not all the same monster. They are based on the things I fear the most.
