Chapter 18- Natalie

Liam's POV

I woke up with my left cheek throbbing. I groaned as I sat up in my bed, rubbing my eyes to get the drowsiness to disappear. I got out of my bed and went to the bathroom to see if Zayn's punches badly marked my face. I looked into the mirror and saw a massive purple bruise on my cheek. I winced at my touch. I exited the bathroom and threw on a t-shirt and jeans so I can go see May. I hurried downstairs, in desperate need of the car keys

"Hey." I turned to see April in the kitchen eating her cereal.

"Hey." I slowed my pace and walked over to her. She looked down at the ground, like she was upset.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She responded as she was avoiding eye contact with me.

"April, I know your upset about Zayn having feelings for May. To tell you the truth, i'm not so keen about it either but May is with me so give him time."

"Give him to time for what, to realise that i'm not invisible?" I sighed, feeling sympathy for the green eyed girl.

"April, Zayn doesn't think your invisible."

"He does Liam, stop denying it, I know it, you know it, everyone knows it!" She dumped her bowl in the sink with a big bang. She put her head in her hands and started sobbing. I walked behind her and put my arms around her shaking body.

"April, everything is going to be okay." She nodded in my arms and started to calm down. I let go of her and turned around.

"Zayn."

Jamie's POV

I sat up in my bed, continuing to eat my corn flakes that my nurse, Natalie, gave me. I finished the cereal and out my bowl on the tray.

"Hello Jamie, how are you feeling?" I turned my head to see my nurse walk in.

"I'm actually feeling great for the first time in my life." I replied

"Well, I have news that will surely make you feel even better." I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering what possibly she could be talking about.

"You are getting released today!" She said happily, so enthusiastically. I looked down at my hands that were playing with the blanket.

"Why don't you seem happy?" She came towards my bed and sat on the edge of it.

"I don't think i'm ready to go back home."

"Why not? Your making great progress in here and you don't need to stay here."

"I'm not ready to come face to face with people."

"People like who Jamie?"

"My friend Katie but mostly Harry."

"They come in a big group, yeah?" I nodded.

"Yeah, Katie's the brunette with the brown eyes and Harry is the curly haired on with green eyes." Natalie gasped. I looked up.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Harry."

"What about him?"

"I gave him my number and he never called me." My eyes widened.

"T-That was you who gave him the piece of paper with the x's on it?" I stuttered. She nodded.

"Jamie why don't you start getting ready." I hoped out of the bed and started changing into the clothes that I wore when I first got submitted into the hospital.
