Chapter 1- Harsh feelings

-FLASHBACK-

"I'm very sorry for your loss Miss Andrews but we couldn't save them. They were already dead by the time we got to the scene."

I dropped the phone and fell to my knees crying my eyes out.

"MISS ANDREWS ARE YOU OKAY!" Said the paramedic, who just told me the terrible news that ruined my life.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"Jamie!!" I was pulled out of my thoughts as my best friend May walked into my room with a look of concern written all over her face.

"Look, I understand that you can't let your past go, but please stop being depressed and please I beg of you stop shutting people out of your life". She said to me nearly on the verge of tears.

I just looked up at her with a blank expression on my face. How can I let my past go? They were the most important people in my life.

"Jamie, you being so upset is causing everyone around you to be upset as well but I was thinking maybe you could come with us to the movies?"

"I'm not going anywhere." I said to her harshly.

"And before you say why, I'm a little behind on my homework, so I'm not doing anything besides homework today, Sorry M" I said to her with half a smile playing on my lips.

"Okay" she said defeated walking out of my room, leaving me by myself in my room.

My name is Jamie Andrews and I'm not adopted. My best friend took me in after something terrible happened in my life that I couldn't cope with on my own. So I started living with my best friend May, her parents and her little sister Georgia. I'm currently sixteen turning seventeen next year. I have dark brown nearly black wavey hair, dark brown eyes, and I'm very tan. I'm very carefree as I don't care what people think about me, but sometimes I break very easily, like now. I'm not that popular at school but I do have a really good friends May, Katie, Indigo and April.

May and I have been best friends since kindergarden. Her shoulder length, dirty blonde hair matches her ocean blue eyes and she is tan. She's very intelligent and she is very difficult to figure out, even I haven't figured her out fully yet. She intends to keep things to herself instead of telling me and thats hurts her emotionally.

Katie has brown hair. Her big brown eyes ties in with her dimples on her cheeks. She's very sweet and innocent girl who doesn't like when people judge others. She's very sensitive and I tell her everything and I know in every way shape or form she will try and help you and I love that about her.

Indigo has big brown eyes with wavey brown hair that matches her tan skin. She likes to play the guitar. She likes teasing people as she thinks it's funny and she lovs pulling pranks on people. I only go to her if I need advice on... pranks.

April has brown wavey hair with green/grey eyes that can melt somebodies heart. She has fair skin and loves to sing. She hopes to be a very successful singer when she grows up and I hope she achieves that. She has a very funny personality and can easily make somebody smile with only her presence.

I sat on my bed staring at the wall remembering the traumatic time that happened 1 month ago.

-FLASHBACK-

"MISS ANDREWS ARE YOU OKAY!" the paramedic said through the phone. I quickly grabbed the phone still crying.

"No they are gone!." I cried.

"I'm sorry for your loss Miss Andrews, and unfortunately I have more bad news. Your brothers dead as well as his girlfriend and we lost the baby." Now I was bawling my eyes out.

"Will I get to see them?" I asked my voice shaking.

"'Im sorry they are crashed into pieces love, it wouldn't be very ideal for you to see them in this state." She replied using the love to make me feel better.

"Okay thank you for the call."I said hanging up.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

I didn't realise I had tears flowing from my eyes until Georgia came through my bedroom door.

"Hey Jamie, what's wrong." She said with conern in her voice.

"Nothing, I-I'm fine." I stuttered while wiping the tears that have fallen over my cheeks.

She nodded her head and left my bedroom to give me some peace and quiet. As soon as she left, the sun blared through my window, indicating that my parents were here with me. I smiled and went to my window and opened it. I climbed out of my window and went landed onto my balcony. I climbed onto the roof of my house and overlooked the distance.

" Mum, Dad I'm sorry if i have dissapointed you throughout my life, I didn't mean it." I sobbed.
