It was very sunny and absolutely hot and thank God for I do not have classes to attend to today. Oh yeah, summer season is about to come. My sweat glands just won't stop dripping away. Like what I have mentioned, the temperature is high, so I decided to prepare myself an ice-cold glass of iced tea. I went back to my bedroom and searched my bag for my binder. As I turn the pages of my notebook, while scanning my lecture notes in Calculus, I unintentionally recalled about what happened yesterday, about the girl of my dreams, about Sharlene. Eversince I got enrolled at New Era, I never felt this inlove, as if I would do anything just to get her. I'm not really sure if she'll be able to recognize or remember me the next time we meet again.
Fear from rejection is what conquers my brain now. I was thinking how would I win a heart from someone like her. I mean, I am just a f*cking loser, whining around the school. Well, I guess the only option I have now is to remain confident and faithful to God that He will surely be there for me all the way to my success.
(At school, same day)
Finally, my Calculus class is finally over. I should be heading to our dance rehearsals for we need to prepare for the upcoming school event. I've been a member of the school's "partially official" dance troupe since September 2011 and up to now (October 2012). It's been 5 hours of practice and still I wasn't able to give myself a break and bottle of water to drink for our choreographer has been forcing and pushing us to finish the routine being to taught to us because the event is just like 4 days ahead. I can already feel numbness from my thighs and legs. I can barely move my body so I asked our choreographer if I could have a small break and rehydrate my self for a while and fortunately, my request was granted. So I went to the campus' highschool building to drink water from the fountain. As I raise my head and displacing myself from the fountain, I surprisingly saw Sharlene just 10 meters away so I rushed myself and tried acting simply cool and relaxed infront of her.
"Hey, Sharlene! Saan kayo galing? Mag-gagabi na ah (it's around 6:10 pm that time)" I shouted.
"Pauwi na, kayo? Pawis na pawis ka ah." Sharlene replied.
"Ah.. Oo nga eh, nagpapractice kami for the event sa 2nd GA ng Masscomm. Onga pala, bigyan narin kita ng flyer namin. We just had our new business started last August and I'm promoting our restaurant. Filipino cuisine, may Tapang kabayo, frogs, alupihan, and other exotic animals, may sting ray rin." I replied back.
"Hahaha sige, sabihan ka namin. Goodluck pala and thank you!" She said while smiling.
"Wala yun. Sige ingat kayo pauwi. *with kinky smile but still weird* " I replied.
(Sharlene and her friends went gone home)
Oh my God, I can't believe what just happened like seriously I was able to talk to her! I was able to somehow express myself to her in a very casual and simple manner. Someday, she will be mine and she will be my girlfriend, and I will be his boyfriend and we will love each other for the rest of our lives. Nothing is impossible if you will put every effort you have on something that you want to have. Your faith will be nothing if you will not act upon your dreams. By the power of love, I will be victorious... soon.
To be continued.... wait for Chapter 5.
