She had made it down to the foyer. Her heart was in her throat, everytime she thought about going back to Jack, but listening to three boys, who she had to keep reminding herself she had only just met, argue about her, made up her mind that this was her problem and her problem only. There was nothing anyone could do about the situation and she was alone. She just had to accept it.
"Excuse me miss?" She heard a voice behind her, she picked up pace, the door was only a few feet away, she was nearly out when a large, solid, male figure dressed all in black stood in front of her "I'm going to have to ask you to come with me?"
"Why?" Jess said, in shock "I haven't done anything"
"Please, I'm asking nicely, unless you want to make a scene" Jess followed the man back across the foyer, desperately wracking her brains for something she had done, maybe it was because she was walking across his incredibly posh hotel in nothing but a hoodie and PJ bottoms. That probably did it. She followed him into a small office and sat down where he indicated "wait here" he said, she leant back into the chair and closed her eyes, the longer she was kept in this room, the more and more angry Jack was going to get that she had run out on him last night, and if he ever found out that she had gone back to Harry's, she would probably be dead.
"Why did you run?" She swivelled round in her chair to see Liam and Harry staring down at her.
"You..." She questioned "you made them put me in here?"
"We wanted to come after you, but there are Paps outside, we didn't want Jack knowing where you were"
"So you sent him" she pointed at the Large-as-a-house-man that had appeared behind her and was smiling at her, almost apologetically "he had me genuinely thinking I was in trouble! Like I need anymore stress..."
"This is Clive" Liam said "isn't he a beast?"
"Huge" Jess replied, watching Clive blush as he received something he perceived as a compliment "you can't keep me here, I need to go back before Jack starts worrying"
"Worrying" Harry sniggered "that's a Joke"
"Harry..." Liam warned before turning back to Jess "and what were you going to do? Walk back home with no phone, no money and more importantly no shoes, and that's my Hoodie by the way"
"I was going to return it" Jess said looking at the floor "I really have to go back, if I don't I'm going to lose everything, why can't you guys see that?"
"And why can't you see that were just trying to help you?" Harry said, raising his voice slightly, causing Jess to jump in her seat.
"HARRY!" Liam said, shouting at him "Shut up will you, your not helping matters"
Harry's features softened "Sorry Jess, I just can't see why you want to stay with him..."
"WANT TO STAY WITH HIM?" Jess stood up out of her chair, ignoring the sharp pain in her chest as she did so "You think I want to stay with him, you think I want to be used as a punching bag every night? You think I want this Styles?"
"Then why don't you do something about it?" Harry shouted back "and why do you keep coming back here if you're not going to let me help you and keep throwing it back in my face?"
Jess didn't have an answer, seeing Harry's face looking down at her she saw the pain etched across it, she realised that she couldn't carry on with what she was doing, she had given up the fight but in doing so, she had dragged everyone that she had come into contact with down with her. She walked over to Harry who had dropped his head down to stare at the floor and put her hand on his cheek and began rubbing her thumb around in circles, trying to comfort him "this isn't your fight Harry, Its mine, do you think I want you or your friends getting hurt?"
