Ruby's P.O.V.

I cried for hours... I don't know how many.. But it was enough to make me throw up.. I know I promised him.. That I was going to be happy.. But I'm not! How could I be? The one person I felt closest to just died... And I'm not leaving his side no matter what...

Nora's P.O.V.

I had left Ruby alone so she could grieve, but once I heard some new noise, I ran back into the room... Only to see Ruby throwing up in the corner of the half-destroyed room...

My eyes widened. I couldn't take this anymore...

As soon as Ruby stood up and turned around, I ran and hugged her.. She hugged me back and cried into my shoulder... I have never seen Ruby like this...

"Ruby, I'm so sorry! I can't even begin to understand what you are feeling right now..." I told her.
"I-it's not y-your f-fault.." was her reply.. She is shaking so bad...
"I feel like this is my fault, though... I mean.. Maybe if we found medicine or something... I don't know... Just something to help him.." I said, looking over to the body of the dead Hunter.. We released our grip on each other, and I walked over to his body. Ruby sat down on the floor against the side of the bed and pulled her knees up to her chest. I looked at her one more time before closing my eyes and walking out of the room.

*half an hour later*

Nora's P.O.V.

Ren was keeping watch outside, and Jaune and I were sitting in the living room, with our heads down..

It was so quiet until we heard a loud screech from a few minutes away.. Ren bursted through the door, his eyes widened. "Guys, we need to go! There's Grimm here.. A whole pack of them. Too many to fight!"

"Wait! What about Ruby?!" Jaune stood up. We all ran into the room she was in. She was still in the same position as before..
"Ruby.. We need to go!-"

Another screech, but this time it was closer..

"Ruby!" Ren screamed. "I'm not.. Leaving.." she said, sternly...
