Convincing.

*Nora's P.O.V.*

We all looked at each other, concerned. She had made up her mind, but I was confident in changing it..
"Ruby, we need to leave right now! The Grimm are going to attack any minute now, and-"
"I said, I'm not leaving!!" she interrupted. My look of worry turned to anger. "Ruby, look. I understand, you are grieving for a family member. But if we don't leave, right now, then we are all going to die!!" I shouted.

"Just leave me here then!!!"
She screamed. Those words hit me hard... She's giving up...
"This isn't what Qrow would have wanted!!" I tell her. She stands up and glares at me. "Don't give me that BS!!How could you possibly know what he would have wanted?!"
My eyes widen. I start to yell back.. "I know that he wouldn't want you to die! Think about your family and friends for just moment, Ruby!!..... Yang needs you! I need you!.. We all need you!... If you stay here, then everything is over! You got that?! Team RWBY will be split apart forever, and nobody would ever be the same!!...." I yell, only noticing now that it had started to rain..

Another screech was heard, closer than ever. "Fine.." Ruby finally chokes out. "But we can't just leave him here..." she says, looking towards her uncle's body. She thinks for a bit, before getting an idea. "I can carry him, as long as I stay in the form of rose petals.."

"Can you turn him into a crow..?" Jaune suggests. I give him a weird look. "I'm pretty sure only the person that owns that power is the only one who can control it.. And that person is.. Well... Ya know..."

"Actually.." Ruby says, looking at her blade and then back to Qrow's body. She walks towards it slowly, taking out her blade. "Whoa.. Ruby what are you doing?!" Ren asks. "He told me something important once... He said 'If anything bad happens to me.. I want you to be the one to take care of the situation.'"

She took Qrow's hand and turned his arm over. " 'Just stab me right here, and everything will be a whole lot easier..' " she continued her quote, before lightly stabbing Qrow in the middle of his arm.
Within the blink of an eye, the dead body of a man was replaced with the small, dead body of a bird.. A crow, to be exact... And obvious...
Ruby's eyes widened. She dropped her blade and gently picked up the small form, a single feather floating to the floor..

"Oh my God..."

*Ruby's P.O.V.*

Tears welled up in my eyes.. I never knew what he meant by what he said.. But now I knew..

I held the small body close to my chest, careful to not let any more feathers fall off.. He was so much more delicate now, it was hard to get used to.. My thoughts were interrupted, though, when we all jumped at the sound of a loud Grimm screech right outside the house.. I held on firmly but gently to the small bird, and ran.. The others followed.

Before I knew it, I had been traveling as rose petals for a while.. I must have been going pretty fast, and I remembered my friends.. I stopped, wondering if they were safe.. "Nora! Jaune! Ren! You alright back there?" I yelled as loud as I could. Eventually, I heard a response. "Yeah, we're fine! Just hurry home!!"

I nodded, and continued running.

I stopped in front of the wooden house in the middle of the forest. My eyes were kinda wide. I was so nervous.. But I do have to give my father and my sister the news... Somehow....
