The Broken Promise

Chapter 1

Scene 1:

Last night I dreamt about our fantasies, when I woke up I faced our realities.

"I need space. Cool off muna tayo." He said.

"Oh really? Is that what you need?" I told him.

"Yes. I'm sor-" I immediately cut what he's trying to say and cold-heartedly said "Don't...don't say you're sorry. Happy Anniversary Luke. 'Di na ko hihingi ng explanation. I understand."

"I understand." Paano ko nasabi 'yon? Pfftt. I am really stupid. Well... on the other hand how could he say that? Truthfully saying, it kind of hurt a bit and cool off? Ano kami hot beverages? Piss off Luke.

I felt the warm droplets of water falling through my eyes as I walked away from that freaking Star****s restaurant where that freaking dumb ass decided to meet me and eliminate me from him stupid life.

"Kate! Kate! Where are you going? Hey Ka- Oh God! Ayos ka lang ba? Bakit ka kasi tatanga tanga?! Pati ba naman poste gusto mong makalips to lips?! Hindi pa ba sapat ang lips ko?"

"Ant....Anthony?"

I think I bumped into something hard? Shiz. Si Anthony ba 'yun? Grabe.. ang sakit ng ulo ko. Umiikot na ba nang sobrang bilis ang mundo? Ouc-. Teka bakit parang dumidilim di...

Scene 2:

"My dearest Kathleen,

Told you! I knew that your so called a-thousand-year love story will end in just a year. Therefore I conclude nasa akin ang huling halakhak. HA! HA! HA! Kidding aside... 'di ka kasi marunong makinig. Didn't I tell you he's a son of a b*@&% and a f&$(*@! dumb ass? Now he broke your heart, make sure he'll have a taste of his own medicine. Oh well, I prepared a simple gift for you. Hanapin mo na lang Pakner.

P.S. I left another note. Hanapin mo na lang ulit Pakner."

Should I say thank you for that very supportive letter? Taste of his own medicine you say? Why not? Teka... where the hell am I?

I looked at my red wristwatch from that dumb ass (Should I dump this? LOL I kept on cursing) and realized I was sleeping for about five hours already. Then I stood up trying to figure out where the hell am I and it was then I faced the mirror and found out his other note. It says there:

"Kate, next time you're planning to become an emo b*@&% at least call me. And if you're trying to figure out where the hell are you, you're in my sister's bedroom. I already texted Tita May and told her what happened. Don't thank me anymore. I know you're already crying for my undeniable kindness and handsomeness. You're picture...err I mean video while you're sleeping is more than enough to pay me. See you! I need to see Madge and Ken. May urgent kasing nangyari. I'll be back later."

What's with Madge and Ken?

Did they fight again?

Don't tell me-?!

Scene 3:

Ayos na naman ako ngayon after that long sleep. I also talked to Ayen and asked for her forgiveness since Anthony bothered her.

She was laughing (just like before) as I told her what happened yesterday (excluding the break-up...I mean cool off). Then she gave me the 'gift' Anthony was talking about. Sabi niya hanapin ko daw. Well, whatever carebear.

She said she thinks na pagkain 'yon kaya better na ibigay niya na lang sa akin since she already found it beside my phone. (Aww. How sweet of you Mr. Garcia :p)
