"Devora, wake up!" Oblo shouted as he violently shook me.

     "What?" I snapped.

"Roll call is in five minutes!"

"Shit!" I jumped out of bed and grabbed a clean set of clothes, quickly prying my dirty clothes off and climbed into my clean set. I ran my brush through my hair, wincing at the snags before throwing on my coat and boots and following Oblo down to the mess hall of the ship.

"Stand here." Oblo whispered as he motioned to the empty spot between him and Tullk. "Keep your back straight. When Yondu comes in here, he's gonna inspect our uniforms and stance. If you're not standing to attention, he'll drill you."

     "Is roll call that important?"

"To Yondu it is." Tullk answered. "Standing to attention, keeping the uniform neat and clean, saluting him, it's a sign of respect not only to him, but to the faction."

"ATTENTION!" Kraglin shouted. "Look alive, Captain's on deck!" Everyone quickly stood to attention and Yondu entered the mess hall. Each Ravager saluted Yondu as he walked past them, briefly inspecting their uniforms before stopping in front of me. I saluted Yondu, but he didn't move, just stared me down.

"Is something wrong, Captain?" I asked.

"Your shirt isn't up to uniform code, Krylorian." Yondu responded. I glanced down at my shirt and sighed. It was a tank top, but it was the only clean shirt I had left. Nyromar permitted me three sets of clothes, two day sets and a pajama set, besides my undergarments, the clothes I wore yesterday and today were the only clothes I had.

"My apologies, Captain." I lowered my head. "I don't own much clothes and need to get some more the next time we stop at a shop."

"Well, today's your lucky day, then." Yondu smirked before turning his attention to the rest of the crew. "Today, we're makin' a pit stop in Xandar." Everyone instantly groaned. "SHUT IT!" The mess hall fell silent. "It won't be a long stop, just long enough to get some shit done, and then we'll set off for Berhert, should make it there by nightfall. Eat, we make landfall in a half hour." Yondu walked away to his table without another word.

"As you were!" Kraglin shouted and we all turned back to our tables and sat down for breakfast. Fried orloni with a side of F'saki eggs, toasted bread, and yaro root juice. The mess hall filled with chatter as everyone began to stuff their faces.

"How was your first night, Devora?" Horuz asked.

     "It was fine." I answered.

"Did Yondu punish you for what happened?"

"Why would he? Twattface shoved me in the room and locked me inside, remember?"

"How did you get away with that anyhow?" Tullk asked.

"I've learned to master the art of lying." I smirked.

"What are they talking about?" Oblo asked.

"She-" Tullk began. THUNK! I picked up one of my F'saki eggs and threw it at Tullk's face, instantly shutting him up.

"What? I wanna know." Oblo laughed.

"Fine." I sighed. "I... lost a bet when I lost that one poker match with Twatface."

     "What kind of bet?"

"She had to go wake up Yondu while naked." Horuz answered.

"Damn it, Devora." Oblo sighed with frustration.
