Saturday had come and gone far too fast for Mina. She had been doing homework and studying for the past day inside her home. Haruhi had joined her, but felt a little overwhelmed looking at Mina's work compared to her own. It wasn't often that Haruhi felt like she was prepared for school, but when she did Mina had to keep reassuring her that there was still another year before Haruhi had to think about what Mina was doing. Mina didn't struggle too much with homework because she had always kept herself at least one chapter ahead. It had been a long night of chatter between the two, dancing around the fact Mina was going running with Takashi the following morning.

That morning Mina woke up to find herself surrounded by her text books and little doodles on them.Haruhi was the same, but she had no little doodles written anywhere on her papers. "Always so up tight. Doodles never hurt anyone." Mina whispered as she started to put the books and papers away on Haruhi's bed. Haruhi seemed to mumbled something, but wasn't ready to wake up yet. Mina's internal clock seemed to always wake her up around four thirty every day. Most days she could get herself to sleep, but today her mind was on other things. Like how silly it is that her sister seems too strict on herself that she doesn't even allow herself to doodle a little bit. Tucking Haruhi under her covers Mina moved some of Haruhi's hair behind her ear. "Short hair really does suit you." Mina whispered before kissing the top of her head.

Getting her own mess cleaned up was enough of a job. Mina didn't realize she had gotten every text book out and started to write notes for her next chapter in school. Rolling her eyes at herself and cursing a little mentally Mina finally got all her things in order before making her bed. She was feeling very antsy because she had been cooped up in the house for an entire day, but hopefully the run this morning would help her calm herself down. Getting into the kitchen Mina started to prep some coffee for her father and some tea for her sister. Yawning Mina looked out a window to see that daylight was just starting to break through the sky.

"MinMin why are you up so early?" Her father asked already dressed and ready for the day. Mina had looked at the clock and was a little shocked to see the time that had passed already. "Oh I couldn't go back to bed." She shrugged while Her father took the cup Mina offered him and sat down. "Come sit and talk to me." He said while Mina smiled while sitting down with a cup of tea herself. "I heard you have a run with a certain tall, silent type today." Her father was always straight to the point, Mina loved that about him. "Yeah, it's not as big as a deal Haru is making." Mina took a sip and took in a deep breath. The smell of tea seemed to always be the best in the morning.

"Oh I think it's a big enough deal that you didn't tell your father." He had her there. Why didn't Mina tell her father about it? Mina herself suddenly felt guilty about not telling him. "I'm not sure. I just running is well." Mina placed her cup down while her father did the same with his coffee. "No it's okay. I know what running is to you Minmin." He said getting up and walking over to her while sitting down and wrapping his arms around her. "I'm happy you're running with someone and not away anymore." He said while Mina's eyes widen. Mina really never explained why running was so important. Haruhi and their father had seemed to just accept the fact that Mina was fit and fast.
