School

Every class she has she is silent. Always writing in a notebook, always reading, and always drawing. She seems very unsocial at first. It takes time to coax her out of her shell and get her to acknowledge you. She'd rather sit and read silently to herself in a corner and not be bothered than do group activities. She's focused on school work and rarely talks.

Though she hates school it is the one place she sees people who care. She has a small group of friends that support each other. Her hero is in that group and the only guy. Her friends are strange and different with various kinds of pasts. They all try to be normal. She always tries to make them happier by saying, "Normal is boring. We're awesome for being weird." Sometimes they listen and sometimes they don't. She always promised to be there, to listen, so she doesn't want to complain. She thinks her problems are inferior to theirs and rarely shares anything. She goes to one friend about every problem and doesn't expect help because she wouldn't get any anyway.

So she sits quietly in class, staring at nothing, dreaming about a time where she can be happy again. She dreams of a time where all of her friends have no problems. She'll smile as she dreams, but she's always interrupted and her happy mood is gone. She gets picked on silently by classmates and at lunch but she never tells anyone. She'll talk about suicide and joke with her friends but no one can tell how desperate she really is. No one can tell she spends her night crying alone. She hides her scars well with the smile she has and her jackets and pants. She's afraid of being found out and sent to counseling or home. She wonders when will it be her last and when will everyone know.

She feels completely alone everyday and no one could ever tell.
