"Okay then. What we will do is a compaction the see who will get the duet. I will pick three random neutral judges to help pick. The two of you will perform a song that goes with the theme of the compaction. How does that sound?" Mr. Shuester asked everyone.
"Mr. Shuester, I think that is the best way to do it." Rachel told him.
"What is the theme then?" Finn asked.
"The theme for this compaction is truly inspirational." He told us. I looked over and saw Rachel's eyes light up.
"Mr. Shuester, you better not be joking with us." Mercedes said.
"I am not." Mr. Shuester said.
"Then we have this bag. There is no other glee club then us that know the true meaning of that." Rachel said.
*Rachel's POV*
"The rest of you guys will find songs for the group. Then we will choose on Friday. Also on Friday we will choose the solo." Mr. Shuester said.
"Mr. Shuester, let me stop you there. We already know who is going to do the solo." Quinn said.
"Rachel." They yelled in unison. I just sat there in silences. I can't believe them. I don't want to be a stage hog or spotlight diva any more.
"Okay. Rachel, are you okay with that?" Mr. Shuester asked me.
"Before you say anything Berry. We don't want to hear you saying that you don't want to be a spotlight dive or stage hog. You are not their when we vote you it. So take it. Or I am forcing you to do it." Santana told me.
"Okay. Looks like I need to do research for the perfect song." I told them all.
"Okay. That is all took care of. Then we will have to alone take care of duet and group. Very good guys." Mr. Shuester said. Then the bell rang and we all headed out of the room.
"So, you are heading the library." Santana said to me.
"Yeah. I want to start looking for the prefect song." I told her.
"Whatever you sing will be prefect." Noah told me as he handed me my bag.
"That is so sweet of you Noah. But I just want to make sure." I told him.
"I am with Puck. You got this Rach. No worries." Mike told me as he walked past me.
"Thanks Mike." I told him.
"Come on. I will walk you to the library." Noah told me.
"No. You are heading to class. So you are not late. I will be fine. I will talk to you later." I told him.
"But..." Noah was saying.
"No buts. He is all your Mike." I told them.
"Come on Puck. To fight with her. You know you won't win." Mile said.
"Fine. I will see you later." Noah said giving me a kiss on the cheek and walking away with Mike. I just shock my head and started to walk down the hallway.
What am I going to sing? The theme of Sectionals is true inspirational. I need to pick a perfect song to bring it home for the club. I don't want to let them down. This is our year. I want to take them always to the top.
