Chapter 2

When the five friends got off the plane, they wher beyond relived. Rayan looked like she was about to vomit at any second. They weren't wrong. When Rayan stumbled off the plane, when bent over and threw up all over Amar's shoes.

"Ahhh! come on woman! theys are new shoes!"exclaimed Amar

"Sorry, as I've just found out today, I'm not a good flyer. I have some cash, I can pay for new shoes" said Rayan weakly

"Nah, it's ok" said Amar, flicking Rayan's vomit off his shoes "better my shoes than my face, eh?"

They all laughed at this. just then, one of the camp hiro staff came up and asked the five kids and asked in a Japanese accented voice "are you group 2 for camp hiro?" Sypress spoke up and said "yup, that's us. are you our teacher person?" he looked pleased to be recognized and with a bright smile said "yes I am and let me tell you, you guys are going to have a blast at camp hiro. come on in to the car, all the other campers have gone so we can get to know each other on the ride."

Rayan, Sypress, Amar, Carter, and Savanna got into the car with the camp hiro car and once they all had their seat belts on, they drove off. "so" said the guide clapping his hands " my name is Ian and I'll be your guide/teacher if you will, but I don't know your names so can you introduce yourselves to me?"

They went through the normal stuff like what their name is and who they are "I'm Amar and I'm from Canada" "I'm Sypress and I'm from Jamaica" "I'm Savanna and I'm from Scotland" "I'm Rayan and I'm from Australia" "I'm Carter and I'm from Egypt". Ian looked at all five of the kids in and then seemed to notice the vomit on Amar's shoe "what's on your shoe, Amar?" Amar looked as awkward as Rayan "uhhhhhhh.......would you believe it's gum?" Ian shook his head. Rayan looked up and said "I kind of threw up on his shoes after the flight and now it's still there" ther was a silence while Ian tried to figure out how to react and seemed to decide that the best thing to do was laugh. Ian was laughing so hard that he doubled over in his seat an slapped his knee "you barfed on his shoe? did anyone record that because I would love to see that!" He said between laughs "better clean that off when we get to camp. Speaking of camp, here we are!" Camp hiro was a wood building that was fairly big with bonsai and cherry blossoms on each floor with a large forest behind the main building. As the five kids got out of the car, they stared up in amazement as the sun set behind the wooden building. Ian came up behind them, breaking them out of their trance,and said "well, you guys will find that your things are already in your cabin. you can unpack and then come down to the mess hall" he pointed at the building in front of them "and have your evening snack. in your cabin, which is cabin #2, the girls will be on the right and the boys will be on the left and there will be a curtain separating you. see you in half an hour!" then Ian walked into the mess hall, leaving the kids by themselves. "So, to cabin 2 I guess" said Sypress "anyone know where it is?" They all looked around until Carter pointed and said "is that it there?" all five of them looked around, trying to find the cabin.

"I think so" said Savanna "let's go an see it"

As they opened the door to their cabin, they froze in their tracks and looked into their home for the rest of the summer. It was absolutely beautiful.

The wood soon to be home had three bunk beds on the right and two on the left. There where two other doors in the back. The door on the left had a picture of a nunchuck and the one on the right had two criss crossing katana blades. The four beams In the corners had swirly patterns carved into them. In the centre of the floor, there was a cherry blossom picture.
