The power of five

Chapter 5

They all followed Ian back to the cabin with everyone looking at them. Once they got there Ian turned around to look at them and said "guys, i need you to do what I say with out asking questions until I say so ok? I know I haven't known you for a long time but you just have to trust me. Get a bag that is easy to carry, pack it fast and come with me."

They all grabbed a bag and packed their toothbrushes, an extra pair of clothes, Savanna had a Swiss knife and other hygiene things.

"Come in here now!" Yelled Ian from his room. They all ran in and saw Ian trying to move his bed. "Help me with this, will you?" They all started to push on the bed and when they moved it about a half a meter, they saw a hole had been dug.

"Come on and don't make a sound" said Ian. They obeyed and one by one they jumped down the hole and started to run after Ian who was following a trail of glow sticks.

After about five minutes get slowed to a walk. "How much farther do we have to go?" asked Amar

"Not much farther. We should be there soon" replied Ian

"Where are we going anyways?" said Rayan

"I'll explain when we get there I promise. Speaking of which, when we go through there" he said pointing at a magenta swirly thing "we'll be there!"

Ian stepped through the portal thingy and disappeared but the five 15 year olds hung back for a bit.

"Can we trust him? what if he's leading us somewhere dangerous? We don't even know where he's leading us!" exclaimed Amar.

"Think Amar. Do we have a choice? the people there are probably calling the police or something an they will just take us to scientists to have us examined like a disease and then they'll just lock us up for the rest of our life's if they don't just kill us on the spot. And plus Ian has been nice so far so I say we trust him" countered Sypress who seemed quite upset at the whole situation.

To prove that she trusted Ian, Sypress walked through the portal thing and vanished as Ian did. Carter shrugged his shoulders and did the same. The rest of them followed in a similar manner.

When they where all on the other side of the portal safely they looked to Ian for the explanation he promised.

"Ok I'm going to try and explain this as well as I can and pleas don't interrupt" said Ian "here we go. So once upon a time, the world was nothing, as many people believe. But there where five who wandered the universe together. There names where Shine, River, Flame, Blow and Crystal. They weren't people but spirits who had the emotions and form of a human. But wandering the universe can be boring. They decided that they wanted something to keep them occupied. That's earth. Crystal made the actual physical form of the earth and made ground to lay on. River made beautiful bodies of sparkling water. Flame decided the she wanted the place to be relatively warm so that's what she did. Blow liked to move things around so it wouldn't be the same and boring a the time. And Shine wanted there to be light so they could see their creation. Things stayed like this for a while until they realized that it would be no fun if their place didn't have a purpose. So they made me. I was free to do what ever I wanted but of course I got lonely and in exange for animals and humans, I was to be their helper. As the human race grew it had their faults and I was send to help and fix them. I died a couple of times but that's besides the point. But now, Shine, River, Flame, Blow and Crystal want to start again and make another earth but this one has grown on them so much that they can't just abandon it. So they gave some of their power to you to look after this planet and they will look after their new one in hopes that both races will meet one day. They want to meet you and make sure that you are worthy and unselfish enough to handle this. I am here to bring you to them. Any questions?"

They l stayed silent in shock for a minutes until Carter said "it's like you just put the weight of the whole world on our shoulders"

Guys I am so sorry that it took me so long to update and it's such a short chaptre. there is no exuse but I have an explication: I am lazy and I watch a lot of YouTube. Again I am sorry and I am going to try to update sooner. Sorry if I don't though. Hope you guys are having a wonderful day!
