I saw this question and I got some inspiration...:
I'll never understand why Alice left Wonderland.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reality is nice once you've lived the dream, but most of us don't know that because we have yet to experience the extreme.
Alice left because she realised dreams don't suffice, The rest of us suffer on a self given vice.
\Wonderland was simply there, a dream that couldn't handle despair.
She understood she couldn't stay, only fools would live that way.
The white rabbit and the grinning cat, they understood that she was that.
A pretty girl with too many questions, who's only answers were just suggestions.
She smiled and she curtsied as often as she could, As wonderous as Alice, she was just as good.
She tried to stop the changing of the graying day, but somewhere deep she knew she was only here to play.
A place of fun and fancy that was what she wanted, and when she fell upon the hole her wishes, they were granted.
No one thought to question why a child was so brave, after all who should queston that a dreamer was a slave?
Alice lived a nightmare, a curse that we can't break, she was given the oportunity to live her life in fake.
A world where nothing wrong takes place, Like peter's world, you keep your face.
But nothing ever grows or changes, because in a dream, your mind wards off what it calls strange.
A scary thing about the mind, a man with arms is a terriable find.
A horse with scales and fire breath, that's what the brain won't put to death.
In the end a girl without much hope can find the reins and steer her rope.
Alice left Wonderland because in the end, A dream is not what we need to mend.
