Dan sat there beside Phils bed whispering to himself 'please wake up' over and over again. He held Phils hand close to his chest. Phil meant so much to him and to see him this way hurt him so much.
Dan finally had the courage to look up at Phil. He gasped as he felt his body move. "He's moving?" He said out of surprise. He couldn't be anymore happier.
The tears continuously fell down his cheeks as he saw Phil trying to open his eyes. He had so many things he needed to tell him. Like how he really felt about him.
Before he knew it Phils eyes slowly opened. Dans eyes widened not sure how well Phil would take him being there holding his hand. But no matter what happened Dan needed to tell him how he felt and that it wasn't some kind of joke.
Immediately Phil looked over at Dan. It was like he knew he was there. Dan was so confused. But all these feelings came pouring out: happiness, love, confusion and relieved. He cried even harder.
The first thing Dan did was hug him. He knew Phil couldn't hug back. He was probably too weak yet. He didn't care how stupid he looked. The only thing he cared about was Phil and how he was finally awake.
"Was there something you wanted to tell me?" Phil said weakly barely able to talk. Dan stopped hugging him feeling he should finally confess himself as to why he's here.
"Umm Phil... I do have something to tell you." He looked at Phil. Phil just looked back at him with a small smile on his face.
He softly blushed from Phil being so attractive. Even in this state. He let out a deep sigh. "Phil, I really like you. I'm so sorry for the way I treated you." He couldn't help but hug Phil again.
Out of nowhere he heard a small voice say. "I like you too Dan. I always have. I forgive you because of you I now have a reason to live."
Dan started to cry again and held Phil close to him as possible. "I want to always be the reason for you to live from now on." He smiled to himself so happy he got his chance to be with Phil. He wouldn't of wanted this any other way.
