Akayla's POV

I woke up on the floor, my vision was blurred. There was a head-splitting pain in my stomach. I rubbed my eyes out and committed a vain attempt to stand up; I fell on the floor panting and wishing I had done more sit ups in PE.

No one else was moving, I blinked and realized that the blur wasn't from my eyes; I was blanketed in fog as far as I could see, which was about 2 inches. I felt the floor, trying to feel around for any indicator to where I am; nothing. I know it sounds scary but I felt nothing, I wasn't falling through empty nothingness, I was just levitating steadily in mid-air in a haze of fog.

I started to panic: Where am I? What is this place?! Where is everybody?!?!

I looked around again, the fog was starting to clear away, not rapidly, but slowly like clouds moving across the sky.

Then, just as rapidly as the speed of light, the fog cleared and there was a bright flash of white light. I stood up and rolled my head around to get rid of the cramps, the my stomach pains were gone and my eyes felt clear, clearer than I have ever thought possible. I didn't need to blink, and I didn't want to; my surroundings were so beautiful and majestic in a peaceful, yet comfortable, silence.

Then, a great shadow loomed ahead.

Logan's POV

I hung the necklace around her head and heard her shudder, this was not part of the plan! I coughed and stumbled as I tried to make it out of the toxic room; how dare those morons try to leave me alone! Doesn't matter yet, all will be well soon enough.....

Akayla's POV

It was like it hopped out from existence itself, materialized from out of thin air.

I tried to run, but I couldn't move, I felt the ground with my foot; soft, like....velvet?

I mustered all the will I had and looked down to my feet, I was now standing on a platform that rose about 4 feet into the air, it was made out of mostly deep scarlet rushes and golden threads.

I pried my eyes to look at the towering figure again, it was a woman giant, dressed in fine robes of stormy grey silk and a strange crown that seemed to churn with the essence of the cosmos, I stared in wonder for a long time before I realized she was not alone; there were three other giants with her, another girl and two men.

Directly beside her to her right there was a man who defined wisdom. His eyes were a calculating green, his face had a weather beaten expression that must've seen the beginning of the universe.

Another man stood to his right; he seemed visibly younger, or at least, youthful, compared to his aged accomplice. Gave off a warmer vibe than the woman with the strange crown, who had another young woman to her left; she gave off almost the exact same feeling like the younger boy.

They started walking towards a table set up only a few feet behind them, I expected the ground to shake and the clouds to tremble, but all was still and quiet, there was no sound of scraping chairs when they each took their seats.

"The boy is very clever, as much as I want the good to triumph.....we have to keep this secret to ourselves, but we need a spy down below who can keep an eye over them." The strange-crowned woman said.

"I think you are absolutely right Veniece! But who can we trust?" The wise man replied in turn.

"I might know just the person, father," The younger woman spoke. "I have been watching over her for a while, but every time she enters that cursed 'class' I seem to lose my grip on her conscience."

Veniece massaged her forehead. "Yes, and you and your brother will be leading her back. Reveal nothing, say nothing; we can't risk anything going over to the other world. Do you understand me? Angelica and Dioclete?"

"Yes mother!" Angelica and Dioclete said in perfect unison.

"Haidin.... we have been really rude lately to our special guest. Lets introduce ourselves." Veniece stood up and walked over to me. Her husband, Haidin; her children, Angelica and Dioclete followed her.

Veniece screamed.

Kathy's POV

I woke up with my cheek against the cold hard ground. The classroom was a mess! Students were passed out everywhere from the floor to their desks.

"Andie! Wake up!"I screamed, a few people were starting to stir. My vision was a mix of red and blue flashes. I blinked a few times and realized the lights came from police sirens.

My senses came back and I saw people with stretchers swarm the room, loading kids onto them and onto an ambulance parked right outside.

"Are you two girls okay?" An officer confronted me and Andie as we limped over to the corner of the room to get out of their way.

"Yes, we are, thank you for checking; we'll call you over if we need help." Andie stretched and shook her legs. "How long were we out?"

"About two hours, a kid came into the room and reported the passed out students." The officer told us before he was called away by a voice from his radio. He helped a kid limp out of the room and onto a nearby stretcher.

"Kathy....wha...what happened," Andie was out of breath. Bent over and heaving.

I saw something glinting from out of the corner of my eye, a perfume bottle maybe?

Then everything came rushing back at once, the exchange, Logan and the Jerktourage, Madison and Mackie, the bottle.....

"Mackie happened."

Andie didn't hear me.
