Louis;

Harry hadn't been the same since that night. He'd secluded himself away from everyone, leaving me to look after Belle. I didn't mind though...anything to help Harry.

I've been racking my brain for months. Trying to figure out what I've done wrong.

Maybe it was just me. Maybe I wasn't meant to be in Harry's life. Maybe I came on too strong...

"Harry? You coming down for something to eat? I don't like you being up there alone." I shouted up the stairs.

Harry;

I sighed and replied with a subtle no. I currently sat in bed, knees to my chest. Eyes bright red and lips chapped. I'm not quite sure myself why I hid myself away, especially for so long.

I really enjoyed my birthday, everything about it was perfect. I want to spend more time with Louis but I don't want what happened to happen again. I can't let that happen. I climbed out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was a mess, not the cute curls I normally wear. My eyes where dark and dull, no longer bright green and not to mention my smile had totally disappeared. I walked into the bathroom and stepped into the shower. I quickly washed myself and climbed out, wrapping a towel around my waist. I walked back into my room. I walked over to the wardrobe and scanned the items of clothing. My eyes hovered over Louis' brown woolly jumper, I pulled it off the coat hanger and threw it over my head. I paired it with a pair of skin tight jeans and socks.

My head snapped up at the sound of Belle's screams. I turned around and ran downstairs, I stopped in my tracks when I saw Louis trying to calm her in any which way he could.

"No, no, no." I sighed. "Gently Louis. You'll make her more nervous rocking her viciously like that."

Louis looked at me with a shocked look on his face. I just grinned.

"Harry! You're okay..." I raised his hand and stopped Louis in his tracks.

"I don't want to talk about it. I was being a brat." I admitted, my face dropping. Louis face turned to the look of pain. I walked over to Louis and took Belle from him. "She too heavy? She is one in 2 days Lou."

"I know Harry. I think it will be the perfect time for you to invite your family." Louis said softly. Giving me the adorable puppy dog eyes.

"Louis, I can't. You don't know the situation between me and my family. They wouldn't answer the phone let alone come here for their granddaughters birthday. What about your family?" I asked, raising an eyebrow and placing Belle on the floor. Belle crawled around the spacious living room, every so often stumbling around on her feet.

"That's different Harry and you know that. You know my story. I don't know yours. Just try...for me?"

"Fine." I said before laughing at Belle. Belle stumbled over to me and stood in front of me, bouncing up and down slightly. "But not now." I stood from the sofa, picking Belle up and walked towards the kitchen.

Louis followed me and grabbed an apple. I placed Belle in her highchair and gave her a toy. I then walked back into the kitchen began to make her tea. Louis stood in the doorway looking at me.

I can't believe what had made me suddenly want to get up and talk to him. Louis seemed to be the sort of person to admire and talk to about anything.

Louis remained stood in the doorway, staring at me.

"Stare any longer you might as well take a picture." I winked at Louis as I walked back into the dining room. "Do you want to feed her?" I asked, holding out the bowl of baby food. Louis nodded and sat down in front of an impatient Belle. I sat opposite them both and smiled.

"So, going to tell me anything yet?"

"All in time, Lou." I sighed, not wanting to retrace the past. "Will you be okay with her?"

Louis nodded as I rose from the chair. I walked away from the dining room and towards the music room. I picked up one of the many guitars Louis owned and started playing. The notes and lyrics memorised from my song book.

"Sweet creature, had another talk about where it's going wrong. But we're still young, don't know where we're going but we know where we belong." I began singing my own hand written song.

"And ohh, we started...two hearts in one home. It's hard when we argue, we're both stubborn but oh, sweet creature, sweet creature...wherever I go, you bring me home. Sweet creature, sweet creature...when I run out of road. you bring me home."

Louis;

I heard Harry's voice from the dining room. I picked a now sleeping Belle up from her chair and cradled her. I walked towards the music room...Harry's voice getting louder and sweeter.

"And ohh, when we started, just two hearts in one home. It gets harder when we argue...We're both stubborn, I know."

I lent against the door frame, listening to Harry. Harry has the most sweetest voice I've ever heard. Just to go perfectly with him. I never thought that nearly a year down the line from first meeting Harry would I ever stand in my own house listening to Harry sing.

"Sweet creature, sweet creature. When I run out of road, you bring me home...You bring me home" Harry held the last note. My face broke out into a smile. Belle began to stir in my arms, causing Harry to turn around. My face flushed red. Harry's eyes connected with mine.

"Did you wr-write that fo-for me?" I asked stuttering over my words, placing Belle into a more comfortable position in my arms.

Harry didn't say anything, he just nodded and flushed bright red.

Embarrassment setting in.
