Spatter here, spatter there
Gunshots echo, don't you hear?
Bombs shake the horse's lair
Who'd help the mouse or even care?Spatter here, spatter there
Who's comrade, who's foe to fear?
Brothers but each one an enemy
Some are terrorists, others in the armySpatter here, spatter there
Civilians wail in wonder
What's all the death for?
Their pride, principle and honor?Spatter here, spatter there
Blood's found in the corner, everywhere
On the road, by the coast, in shattered homes
Like the war-cliffs of Sparta and that of Rome's.Spatter here, spatter there
When will there be
peace to share?
