Fleeting moments almost left me
Incognizant of his face
That I have never seen
Even for one greedy chanceLife didn't make me
Indignant nonetheless
In dreams he would appear
And vivid as the sun he'd smile at meAs if saying 'I miss you'
As if wanting to be back
To embrace me one last time
And make me feel how much I'm lovedIn those incandescent memories
I draw a sliver of joy
Propagating it like seeds in the wind
Waiting to be reunited with him
