Sharp metal glistening from the light
scaping from the cracked wall
Hush, to her ear he barked
Lying on her side, stirred in motion
Heartbeat racing in full fright
wincing in each thrust that fallScreaming not an option
Her life, more important,
Or her honor?
Hush, no sign of retributionOnly horror
