Class after class every girl would talk about him , well every girl except me. They looked at him like a brand new pair of shoes. After maths the two of us walked out of the class together , but two girls came rushing up to him and pushed me aside walking away with my new friend.

I decided I shouldn't leave him to sort out the weird girl problems by himself , so I walked behind them to the cafeteria. The girls dragged poor Jae to an empty bench and sat down glaring at him from across the bench. I casually walked up to them and sat next to him. He seemed relieved that I was there to save him. "Hey , no one said you could sit there." A brunette with pink glossy lips and dark brown eyes glared at me and I guess she was trying to intimated me, but that didn't really quite work out for her. "Well no one said I couldn't and it's not nice to kidnap innocent people from their friends."

Both the girls looked at me as if I was joking until they quickly realized that I wasn't. She got up from across the bench and walked over to me. "I don't know who you think you are newbie, but around here I'm the boss - so I suggest you watch what you say to me." I couldn't help but laugh at her tough act. "Why are you laughing ?"

I looked up at her. "I'm laughing at you."  "Me? What's so funny about me?"  This time she was getting closer. "Your 'tough' act is just funny."  By the time I finished my sentence she was standing right next to me. "My 'tough' act?"

I stood up this time to emphasize my point, " Yeah , to be honest it was a complement , you should say thank you." We glare at each other for a while before... "You better watch that attitude around here , it could get you in trouble." She glared at me and walked away with her friend.

Jae looked at me surprised "Wow, you don't seem like the kind of girl that would stand up against someone like that?" My eyes are wide open and I fall onto the bench almost in defeat "Neither did I"
