Confession

Chapter 7

She looked at Jae trying to seduce him, "I didn't get to properly introduce myself yesterday, I'm Madison, and you are?" Jae looked at me for help, but I didn't know what to do so he politely answered her " I'm Jae."

"That's such a cute name", her high pitched giggle peirced my ears and I scrunched up my face almost like I was going to throw up which I felt like doing. Madison glared down at me, "And your friend is..." I looked at her and swallowed my sarcastic remark and answered with the fakes smile ever, "I'm Lily"

"Oh yeah, your the girl that interrupted Jae and I at lunch yesterday, right? You must be feeling really sorry about that, I'll give you the chance to apologise now." I scoffed at her, then looked at her with a smirk on my face. "There's no need for me to feel sorry and I'm definitely not the one that needs to apologise."

"Oh really, so who's going to apologise to me for your rude behaviour?" " It sure as hell not going to be me, since I was just hanging out with my friend. So since your the one who interrupted us... " I stand up so I can look her straight in the eyes as I said my words slowly so she could hear me, " You need to apologise to us."

She looked at me fiercely almost like I was supposed to be scared of her. " What did you... " I cut her off before she asked her obvious and stupid question, "You heard me, or do you need hearing aids?" We stared at each other for a good thirty seconds before she finally answered, "I'll let you off with a warning, Lily, but don't think I'll be so generous next time"

She turned around, flicking her hair in my face and walked away with her sidekicks fumbling in their heels behind her. I sit down and take a deep breathe as I through my palm against my forehead, "Why can't I just keep my mouth shut?" "I'm pretty sure your the only person in the school to talk back at her like that." I banged my head against the tree not caring how much it hurt, but eventually rub the back of my head in pain.

"That's why I need to shut up and avoid any trouble with her. I already spoke out of place yesterday at lunch and I'm pretty sure I have an enemy at this point." Jae just laughs at me as I hit my head against the tree again, harder this time, I hold my breathe trying to keep my cry of pain under control and hold the back of my head with both hands.
