I am so sorry, so sorry guys... I know I am super late... but, I have so many work to do. Being a professional you have to concentrate and give your 100% to it. Thus, I couldn't give proper time to writing.

One more thing is, I will finish this story and then, probably I'll take a break from writing. Not sure, but will inform everyone soon. But don't worry, will finish this story first.

I was sitting in my office silently observing the drawings of upcoming project when my phone rang. Without even looking at the caller id, i picked up the call and said "hello.?"

"Nandini..." i heard a familiar voice from the other side and in next moment i knew who she was.

"Mukti... say..." i said and smiled.

"I am so sorry i am calling you when you must be busy, but I forgot my important book at your office." Well she was here today morning. She actually came to meet me. In last few days we bonded well. Even Manik complained that i pay more attention to Mukti more than him and i used to go all awww on him. He was out two days for some business purposes, so Mukti and I thought to meet up and catch up for some girl time and there she forgot her book at my office desk. I glanced around and saw the book on the desk.

"Yes... I found your book. So... l'll give it to Manik tomorrow... hmm?" I said and transfer my gaze at my work again.

"No... actually it's important plus, I am even out, I would have come to your office and took it but i am on complete opposite way and I need to prepare for exam tonight." She sounded worried.

"So what do you want me to do Mukti?" I asked.

"Uhmmm... can you please... please drop it at home? If... If it's fine to you..." she said taking measurable pauses in between.

I bit my lips worriedly. It's a bad idea to be around Manik's family when he is not around.

"Mukti... how can I..." I tried to speak but she cut me in between

"Nandini... It's really important otherwise i would have never said anything to you... pretty please... please...." she said in extra sugary tone and me being soft hearted girl melted. Sugar coated tone runs in their blood. Manik does the same. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay fine..."

"Awesome... just drop it to the servant. She'll take it from you, and don't worry no one will make a scene there. Okay?" She said while i nodded my head.

"Okay..." i said and smiled.

"Thank you Nandini... you are a sweetheart. No doubt why my brother is all smitten by you." She said laughingly while i blushed.
