"Damon!" Taylor shouted as he walked in the door. He smiled at the five of us, Taylor and I and Kol all on the long couch. Tay in the middle, sharing a blanket with me. Selena and Zedd cuddled up on the love seat near by.

"Hi, baby," I greeted.

"Hey guys," he said. He shut the door, walking towards us all. Everyone mumbled hellos, before turning their attention back to the TV where we were watching Everybody Loves Raymond. I got off the couch, moving to my husband. His arms instantly stretched out to grab me and pull me to him for a tight embrace. "Hi, darling," he whispered, breathlessly, against my neck.

"Miss me that much?" I laughed softly.

"I'm so pissed you didn't come home last night," he retorted, nipping at my neck playfully. One of his hands squeezing my bottom. "Yes, I missed you. Happy birthday, baby. Is it midnight yet?"

"11:47," Kol said and we both looked at him for a moment.

"Thanks for picking everyone up from the airport, man," Damon said.

"You don't have to thank me, you didn't ask me to," Kol retorted.

Damon didn't reply. Instead he looked back at me, "everyone crashing her tonight?"

"No. Kol and Tay are staying with Selena and Zedd at their new house," I said and he nodded. "Wanna finish this episode with us?"

"Um, no. I'm gonna head up and shower. Is that cool?" He asked instead.

"Yeah. Sure. I'll meet you up then in a second," I said and he nodded again before letting me go. He said a brief goodnight and goodbye before heading upstairs. So I plopped down on the couch next to Taylor.

"Hey, maybe we should go," Selena said.

"No, it's fine," I told her and Zedd sat up.

"Nah, its late. We watched most of it. And I'm sure Damon wants you to himself. You should go spend the next 13 minutes of your birthday with him," Zedd said.

Kol cut off the tv and they all got up so I did too. I hugged the 4 of them and thanked them all for everything, including staying here to Damon arrived, before they left. I locked the front door and headed upstairs.

I entered the bedroom to find Damon sitting on the edge of the bed, shirt and shoes off. Phone in his hands. "Oh, who you texting?" I asked, playfully, sitting down next to him on the bed.

"No one," he stated, showing me his open email. He locked the screen and tossed the phone behind us.

I turned my body towards him, reaching my arms out to wrap around his shoulder. "I missed you," I stated.

"Did you now?" He asked and I frowned slightly but ignored it.

"Yes," I answered, leaning in to kiss him but he turned his head. "Oh, so it's like that? You don't want my kisses, huh?"

"How was the interview?" He questioned, moving my arms off him and going to take off his socks now.

"Really? Now you're going to act like this? I just got home Damon," I sighed.

"You had a good time, didn't you? On the show, the two days in New York?"

"Yes, Damon," I stated. Deadpanned expression on my face. "I had a great time. A great two days. But so did you."
