Chapter Eleven

Of course it matters, why is she saying it doesn't?

She's just lost one of her friends and it's all his fault.

How can she be so forgiving? Or maybe I'm the

one holding the grudge. Am I? I thought I was

being reasonable.

All these questions running through my head. I was hauled out of my daydream when she was

repeatedly saying my name, sounding angrier by

the minute.

I blinked a couple of times, noticing we were right

outside her house.

"Oh, bye" I said simply. "Bye?" She said, turning to face her house.

"Wait" I said, pulling her into a hug.

She didn't react at first, but then I felt her hands

touch my back and her head rest on my shoulder. This was a long hug. She finally pulled away, tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked, brushing a couple that

fell away from her cheeks.

"I've been so horrible to you, Louis" She replied,

letting a sob escape her mouth.

"No you haven't! I guess it's all me, I've been getting myself into things I shouldn't be, I'm sorry"

I said, brushing a strand of hair away that fell from

behind her ear.

She just shrugged and blew her cheeks out.

"And if it makes you feel better, I'll talk to Harry" I

smiled, rubbing her arm. "Really?" She said, her eyes lighting up.

"Yeah" I laughed, letting my arm drop to my side

again.

"Thanks Louis" She smiled, pulling me into another

hug. "You're an amazing friend"

Friend? Oh, yeah. "Thanks, you're an amazing friends too" I smiled,

pulling away from her embrace and starting to

walk down the street. I turned around and saw

her still smiling at me. She waved, I waved, then

she went into her house.

I let out a loud sigh. She's my best friend. Nothing more. Keep telling yourself that Louis, maybe it'll help you

get over it. *Sophie's POV*

"Hey" Mum smiled as I entered.

"Hey" I replied, throwing my bag down and

rushing upstairs.

"Uh, Sophie?" She said in a 'you're in trouble' tone.

"Sorry" I laughed, biting my lip and running back downstairs, grabbing my bag and running back up

again.

I hope the events of today pass.
