I was smiling down at my phone stupidly, texting

Charlie. I looked up to see Harry, and frowned.

"Don't get angry at me. I haven't done anything

wrong" He sighed.

I softened. "I know. I'm sorry. It's just, you two are

keeping something from me. I just want to know what" I said quietly, a tear rolling down my cheek.

He pulled me into a hug, snaking his arms around

my waist, mine around his shoulders. I buried my

head into his shoulder and into the crook of his

neck.

"I just think you should talk to Louis. It's him who really needs to. I'm not getting involved, and you

have to respect that, because really, it's not got

anything to do with me" He stated, slowly pulling

away and holding me at shoulder length.

I nodded, and looked down. "You're right. But,

what if he doesn't want to tell me?" I panicked. "If he doesn't, give him time, it's something really

hard for him, because he's scared.." He started, but

he didn't finish. "Nevermind.".

I looked at him strange. "No, continue" I said.

"No. No go talk to him" He muttered, lightly pushing

me toward the group. "Louis, hi" I started, barely able to look at him.

"Sophie.." He started, getting up from where he

was sitting and pulling away from the group.

"Let me just say one thing;" I started. "You don't

have to tell me, if you don't want to. Harry said to

give you time and-" He cut me off.

"Yeah, it was something stupid, and dumb actually"

He started, scratching the back of his neck. "I just

thought, you replaced me with Harry as your best

friend".

I tried to look at him with a straight face, but burst out a few moments later.

"Tomlinson!" I mocked, wiping a fake tear from

under my eye. "Nobody, could do that".

He smiled, and pulled me into a quick hug.

"Happy?".

"Yeah, good, thanks for telling me" I smiled. "It was just... a reasonable reason to be upset".

He laughed and shook his head. "Yeah, leave it

now, forget about it" He smiled.

"Of course" I replied, a slight grin on my face, and

with that, we head back to the group.

This all seemed a little too unrealistic, but I don't think Louis was lying, unless he was a damn good

actor. *Louis' POV*

I lied. I lied. I lied. She trusts me. She trusts me. She

trusts me.

I paced back and forth behind the tent, panicking.

"Lou?" Said a voice.

I snapped my head back, and saw Liam looking confused.

"Liam! Uh, lost something.. don't worry about it" I

fake smiled, crouching down and pretending to

search the floor.

"Okay..." He dragged off, returning to the boys.

This time, I was joined by somebody else. Harry. "Lou, did you tell her?" He started.

I shook my head. "I told her I thought she was

replacing me with you. I can't. I'm scared to. Maybe

we're just not meant to be together, she's my best

friend, and I don't want to ruin that. Maybe I

should move on.." I thought. I sighed at how practically impossible that would

be.

Harry looked down at the floor, and began to kick

the stones that lay on the surface. I started to

wonder, stupidly, if he ever liked her, and vice-

versa. They seemed to show a lot of affection toward each other, but then again, like Harry said,

he was only being nice. He is my male best friend.

Ugh, frustration.
