~~WARNING: Mentions of suicide, child abuse, neglect and depression~~I awoke to a sharp pain in my head and a tight compression around my stomach. I slowly opened my eyes, the blinding light from the ceiling stinging my line of sight. My eyes steadily adjusted to the glare. I raised a hand to my head, rubbing my face. I sensed a small, warm and repetitive wind on the crook of my neck.
'Someone must've left the window open,' I thought to myself, sighing with ire and discomfort. I felt a slight pain in my abdomen and rib cage every time I breathed. I tried to move my arm to my waist, but a heavy weight on my right arm and a stabbing sensation in my neck prevented me from doing so. I looked down at my arm, only to find Orin curled up to me. I jumped, falling off of the edge of the bed with a shout. I didn't hit the floor, instead, a firm grip was placed on my wrist and my arm jerked painfully with the sudden stop.
"Hey, what's the big idea?" Orin grumbled as he looked down at me, gripping my wrist. "You're injured, get back in bed."
"Like hell!" I shouted as he pulled me back up. "What are you doing in my bed?!"
"Well, I was sleeping," he growled, crossing his arms as he lay me back down, ignoring me as I protested.
"Why were you sleeping in my bed?" I asked as he tucked me back in.
"Because I was worried about you, and I tend to get rather sleepy after drinking blood," he yawned, draping an arm across my frame and holding me close.
'Wait, did he just say drinking blood?' I thought, bringing a hand to my throat. It was sore. I felt two, small but irritated pinpricks near the base of my neck. I squirmed against the demon in fear, but to no avail. He wrapping his arm tighter around my shoulders.
"Relax, I didn't take too much," he mumbled, resting his chin on the top of my head. "Just enough to heal my wounds."
"I don't care!" I shrieked in terror, kicking at the man. He wrapped a leg around my thighs, causing me to remain still. I trashed about in his grip. "Get away from me!" My breathing was shallow, I couldn't think straight. "Demon!! Monster!!"
He flipped me so that I was on my back, pinning me to the bed. He pressed my wrists into the mattress, I could feel my skin bruising as he tightened his hold on them. I winced. I slowly opened my eyes to look at him, it was then that my fear caused me to shake. His scarlet eyes were glowing with rage. His hair fell in front of his forehead, shading his face.
"Want to say that again, human?" he snapped. I felt a sudden heat on my wrists, where his hands were. It started off as just a warm sensation, but it soon grew into a slight pain. The pain grew, becoming a searing burn. I screamed. "Hellfire. How does it feel to be burned by the flames of Hell itself? I must imagine it hurts like a bitch." he retorted.
"Let me go!" I screamed, rolling onto my shoulders and pressing my foot to his collarbone. I tried to shove him away from me. He didn't budge.
"You humans are all the same," he muttered, now holding both of my wrists in one hand. He tightened his grip on my wrists even more. "You think I wanted to be this way? You think I wanted to be a demon?" he growled, his grip loosened slightly. "I was human once too, I believed in God and angels. I didn't choose to be this way." he gradually let go of my wrists and I wasted no time in scurrying away from him. I drew my legs up to my chest, ready to defend myself. I caught my breath, looking down at my wrists. The skin was red with a first degree burn, not serious, but God, did it hurt. I hissed and drew my hand closer to me. I placed my hand over the burn. A slow, cooling sensation ran through my veins, gentle, but ever-present. I looked back up at the demon as I chilled my wounds. He hadn't moved, his head still down, his wings drooping sorrowfully, his hands resting on his knees.

Fantasy"Who exactly are you?" The demon smiled a little. "I don't have a name, per say, more of a label," he faced me. "My master has to give me a name, and seeing as I'm free of a contract, I only have my title. I'm one of the seven deadly sins, the eldes...
