"Attack!?" I exclaimed. "What the hell?!" I grabbed Orin and Belial, running out of the room. I heard Orin's sword manifest.

"You two stay behind me!" Belial shouted, flapping his wings as he flew through the halls. Orin followed suit, taking to the air. I held my hand out in front of me, creating a path to skate along; smooth on the middle, rough on the sides. I caught up to Orin and Belial.

"Orin!" I called. "Give me your blade!" He threw the rapier down to me, and I cut a line on my shoulder. I touched my cross to the blood, and gripped my sword as it manifested.

"Stop!" Belial yelled, jerking to a halt in midair. I jumped off of my path, regaining my balance with the loss of movement. Orin landed beside me.

"What?" Orin asked Belial, who stared straight ahead.

I followed his gaze, surprised at what I saw. "What the f-" I began. I was pulled out the way by Belial as a wave of white fire flew at me.

A series of angels, Dominions and Lordships, were in a group near the entry. Holy Hunters and Kinetic-users surrounded them. The angel's wings were outstretched, and the once-curved feathers were now sharp and tattered. They all had eyes as black as night, no white in the surrounding part at all. Inky veins stretched around the eyelids and dripped down their faces. Their lips were parted in an animalistic snarl. Their teeth were pointed; like ivory daggers. The one who fired at me growled darkly. They held a white halberd in their hands. Another flame enveloped the metal.

"Get behind me, both of you!" Belial ordered, shoving Orin and I behind him. The angel fired. I held my hands out, creating a wall of ice between us and the fire. A startlingly loud hiss cut through the air as the heat met the cold. I bent my fingers, the ice breaking and reanimating itself into shards. I swept my hand through the air, and the ice launched itself at the angel. A sword and a flash of light blocked my attack.

"Do not fight them!" Mrs. Taranon shouted, lowering her hand. "These are angels! We can't hurt them!" She tried to reason. The angel shrieked, lunging at her. They screamed in pain as Orin clamped a hand around their throat, smoke curling from where his palm met their neck.

"You can't," he said, throwing the angel away from the teacher. "but I can." My teacher muttered under her breath.

"Angela!" Mrs. Taranon turned to me. "You are not to lay a hand on them, are we clear?" I nodded. I turned my head to Orin.

"Secure the area, only harm them if you absolutely have to." I instructed. Orin huffed in response, flapping his wings and brandishing his sword as he flew. Belial snapped his fingers, and a series of explosions clouded the angels. I outstretched my fingers, creating a dome over them. "What did you do?"

"Antikineseis, I control anti-matter." Belial said. "I need all Wiccan hunters front and centre!" He barked. A group of eight hunters ran to Belial, each one had an Academic bearing a pentacle. "Put a shield around us, now!"

They shouted to each other as they each drew a sigil, each representing the elements in a circle around the other hunters. The first hunter took out a series of crystals and salts. Another drew a large pentacle under the hunters. The dome cracked.

"This won't hold for long!" I yelled as the other cryokinetics joined me in reinforcing the barrier. The hunters placed salt around the pentacle. My hands were uncomfortably cold. A cryokinetic to my left suddenly screamed in pain, falling to the ground. They writhed about on the ground. They coughed up blood as they convulsed. I pressed my hand to my intercom. "Gerard, get down here now!"

"Why do I hear screaming?" He asked.

"Angels!" I said, gritting my teeth as frostbite bit into the tips of my fingers.
