5 years later..Kiana's P.O.V.
I tremble as my alarm woke me up from my slumber. I reached one hand out and grabbed my phone that was sitting on my night stand. I turned over to my side and turned off the alarm.
"Well... I guess I gotta get ready for school.." I uttered out.
I got up and stretched out my arms and legs. I then walked up to my closet and grabbed a black shirt with black jeans and put them on. I ran strait down stairs to eat breakfast with Kylie and her parents.
"Morning!" I said
"Good morning!" Kylie replied as she continued eating her blow of cereal.
I grabbed an apple and rinsed it off and began to eat it as I grab other things for school. Kylie had finished her cereal and walked out the kitchen to grab her bag and put her shoes on.
"Ready to go?" I asked as the apple was blocking my mouth.
"Yup, you?" She asked
"Ya, lets go" I said as I took a last bit of the apple and threw it in the trash.
We walked to Carters house to pick him up.
"You ready to go Carter?!" Kylie and I screamed out as we stood in front of his house.
The door opened and Carter came running out.
"Lets go!" He said
On the walk to school, Cassie drove by and saw me.
"Better run, fat ass!" She said as she drove off and laughed with her friends.
I ignored her comment and continued to walk. I looked down at my stomach and the word "fat ass" came in mind.
"Am I really fat?..." I thought to myself.
When we arrived in school, Kylie, Carter and I walked to the office to grab our locker combination and school books. We looked through our class chart and we realized we got all the same classes.
"This is awesome" Kylie yelled with excitement.
"You bet!" I replied.
We walked to the hallway and put our books inside out lockers and met up in the lunch cafeteria.
"Ahhh...high school..." Carter Sighed.
"Isn't this exciting?! We're starting freshman year, it's gonna be so fun!" Kylie squealed.
"Sure... if you think being shoved in lockers and being called names is fun, then ya, it will be" I said in a sarcastic voice.
"C'mon Kiana, that was back in middle school, forget about those people." Kylie said
"Ya, maybe high school won't be as crappy as middle school" Said Carter.
"Are you kidding?! Middle school was just the beginning, now that we're in high school, I bet it's worse." I said as I rolled my eyes.
When the first bell rang, we walked to our Algebra class.
"Hi, I'm Mr.O'land, Welcome to Algebra class. Please take your seats." The teacher said as he pointed to the chairs.
"-And please, don't sit with your friends, I would like all of you to listen and pay attention in class today because we will be talking about integers and other stuff"
Carter, Kylie and I sat in the same row, next to each other in the back of the classroom. We figured that the teacher didn't know that we're friends so we ignored his orders.
