15 She's Fine?

Janelle called Britney "mama did you guys find Dani?" Britney sighed heavily "yeah we found her. We're at the hospital." "what why? What happened? Is Dani ok?" Jackson took the phone "calm down babygirl. Dani will be fine eventually. I don't wanna tell you what happened over the phone so later when me and Brit come home we'll explain." Janelle said "but Jacky." He said "no Janelle. Just help Laya and the boys with Jace we'll be home soon. Ok honey?" She said "ok bye Jacky." Malaya said "what's wrong Nelly?" "Dani's at the hospital. Something's wrong Jackson said he'll tell us when he comes home." Christian said "babe?" Janelle sat in his lap "they said to help you guys with Jace and that's it." Joey came into the living room holding Jace close to his chest "Christian yo. He wont burp I don't know what to do." Christian said "just rub his back until he does. Bro chill he's fine all this is normal." Janelle said "how do you know so much about babies?" Christian smiled and said "I take child development classes and I'm in the teen mom class too." Malaya laughed "why? You're not a teen dad." He said "but I will be a dad some day. Why not be prepared for it?" Jace started crying Joey said "its alright lil man. It's alright." Malaya took Jace and started to gently rock him side to side. "guys I think we'll do just fine with Jace untill Dani comes back." Janelle said "what if she doesn't come back?" Christian said "babe what the hell?" Malaya said "no Chrissy she's right there's a chance Dani might not come back. We don't know what happened yet." Joey said "that's true but we still should try to stay positive. Babies can tell when you're upset and they get fussy." Janelle hid her face in Christian's shirt he kissed her head "we'll be alright baby. I promise no matter what."

Jackson said "calm down baby. Dani's gonna be fine." Britney sat on the hospital floor with her back against the wall "how could he do that Jacky? How can a person do that to their wife?" Jackson sighed "I don't know Brit. I baby I'm sorry." Britney said "let's just go home.the girls are probably worried." Jackson looked at nurse Jacqueline "if anything happens can you please call one of us?" Jacqueline said "yes of course. Britney you need to get some rest as well." Britney nodded as she walked out with Jackson. Her phone rang "hello?" Malaya said "mom is everything alright?" "honey I don't... Just ummm... We're coming home now. We'll explain everything when we get there." Malaya said "mom." Britney said "baby I'm fine. Just stay calm and dont upset Jace. I'll see you soon." Britney hung up "do you want pick up Jax or no?" Jackson said "he's coming home tomorrow and you need to relax babe like chill. Breathe in through your nose. Out through your mouth." Britney did as she was told the whole ride home. Janelle was outside pacing the yard. Jackson said "c'mon babe inside." Janelle said "mom what the fucks going on?" Britney started crying and walked past Janelle straight to her room. Jackson said "don't mind her baby. Uhh Dani looks like she'll be fine.... Eric beat her half to death. She uhh she wasn't breathing when we found her." Malaya said "dad?" Jackson said "fuck. Hey babygirl you hear that?" Malaya nodded then went back inside. Janelle said "why would he?" "he was mad that Brit had a relationship with Dani again. He wanted Dani to be miserable like Brit when she couldn't you guys." Janelle started crying "if she dies do we keep Jace?" Jackson said "I dont know baby. I know Brit's not gonna let Eric have him. Come on now lets go inside." They went inside Malaya was smiling down at Jace while Christian was feeding him. Joey said "hey Jackson what happened?" Jackson said "Nelly can tell you. I need to check on Britney. Laya baby are you alright?" Malaya said "I'm pissed off dad. But I'll be fine. I wanna go see Dani tomorrow." Janelle said "I dont think that's a good idea Laya." Jackson said "yall can go if you want. She's not looking too good." Malaya said "so what. I just wanna see her and tell her I've got Jace no matter what happens he'll never end up with Eric." Christian said "that's sweet Laya."

Danielle woke up about three hours after Britney and Jackson left "where the? Where am I?" Nurse Jacqueline said "oh good you're awake. You're in the hospital. Do you remember your name honey?" Danielle frowned then said "Dani Mercer. Where's my kids?" Jacqueline smiled "don't worry your son is safe with Mr. And Mrs. Andrews." "what happened? Why am I here?" Jacqueline was quite for a moment "what's the last thing you remember honey?" "my step daughters were here getting ready to take me and Jace home. That's it." Jacqueline frowned "honey you're husband sorta kidnapped you and he messed you up pretty bad. I'm gonna call Mr. Andrews and let him know you're awake. Are you hungry?" Danielle shook her head "I think I should eat something anyway." Jacqueline smiled "I'll Melanie being you some crackers and a peanut butter jelly sandwich. I'll be right back." Jacqueline left to call Jackson. Melanie came in a few minutes later "hey sweetie. How you feeling? You got lucky there was a few lunches left ." Danielle forced a smile "thank you Melanie. Do you know when I'll be able to go home?" Melanie said "you're probably gonna be in alot of pain and very moody but I think you can leave as soon as Mr. Andrews gets here." Jackson came rushing into the room with Britney not too far behind him. Jackson said "Dani baby." She said "take me home Jacky I don't wanna be here." Jackson looked at Melanie and Jacqueline "you sure you wanna leave? It might help to stay another night." Britney said "if you really wanna go we'll take you home. Just know Laya isn't gonna let you have Jace while your in pain." Jackson smiled "she's like super mom her and Christian are great with him." Danielle said "Melanie said it's alright for me to leave." Jacqueline handed Britney a prescription pad and said "for the pain. She's good to go. Needs to eat something though." Jackson said "thank you ladies soo much for taking care of her." Britney said "you need help getting dressed Dani?" "yeah. I dont want my shoes though." Jackson said "no shoes mean I gotta carry you?" Danielle pouted "please Jacky." Britney smiled as she helped Danielle get dressed. Jackson carried her to the car and drive home. Janelle and Christian were outside talking. Danielle smiled and said "Nelly." Janelle froze then said "Dani I'm so sorry I let Eric get you." Danielle said "baby its not your fault I shouldn't have left alone." Christian said "you're good though right?" Jackson said "let's go inside Dani needs to eat." They went inside Joey was hugging Malaya while she was rocking Jace back to sleep. Danielle said "hey pretty girl." Malaya said "shhh we just got him to sleep." Joey took Jace from Malaya so she could hug Danielle. Malaya said "are you sore? Hungry? Dead inside?" Danielle said "calm down Laya I'm fine. Brit's gonna get my medicine and I'll be even better. How are you super mom?" Malaya sighed "this is hard even with Joey and Christian helping. Who knew one baby would be such a hassle?" "Nelly why weren't you helping?" Christian said "she was blaming herself for ya know and didn't wanna make Jace fussy because of her bad attitude." Britney said "enough chit chat Dani you need to eat. Kids are you hungry." Janelle said "can we order Chinese? Please mom please?" Jackson said "you think you can keep down Chinese Dani?" She nodded and kissed Jace's head. Joey said "do you wanna hold him?" Danielle said "I dont know if I should." Malaya said "he's your baby Dani. He's not gonna freak out or anything." Danielle took Jace from Joey and started to cry a little bit "he's gorgeous. Looks a lot like you did Laya." Malaya said "Joe's mom said baby's sometimes look like the person you hated the most while pregnant." Janelle said "did you really hate us Dani?" "no I've always loved you girls. I just hated that Eric wanted me to take care of you when I thought you should've stayed with Brit."

Christian took Jace from Danielle after a while and put him in the bassinet so they could eat. The front door opened Jax yelled "mom! Dad!" Jackson said "hush Jax. The babies sleeping." Janelle said "so how was your sleep over? Did you get a goodnight kiss?" Jax said "no but we did watch scary movies all night." Britney said "Jax." "no mom we didn't watch IT you know I hate clowns." Malaya said "me too. Who thought kids would actually like grown ass men with their faces painted white?" Christian said "obviously grown men who like painting their faces white." Jackson said "you hungry Jax?" "no I just wanna lay down I'm super tired." Joey said "you sleeping in your own room tonight lil dude?" "umm can i sleep in the basement with you and Laya?" Joey laughed "dude I'll never say you can't sleep with us." Danielle said "this feels right." Jax said "hi Dani... Are you alright?" Danielle smiled "a little beat up but yeah Jax I'm fine." Janelle said "movie night? Or is everybody tired?" Malaya said "I gotta be up with the baby so I'm down." Christian said "I'll stay up with you Laya. I'll even make those coffee milkshakes you love." Britney said "baby you can sleep. Me and Jackson will watch Jace." Malaya said "it's cool mom. We got it. Plus you guys gotta take care of Dani anyway." Danielle sais "you kids are so sweet. Thank you so much Malaya. Jace is lucky to have to you all." Britney said "you don't have to thank us Dani. You're family. We all love you." Joey said "alright movie night. Jax Chris you guys are on blankets. Babe Nelly we're on snacks. Adults go chill or put on pajamas." Jackson said "when'd you get bossy Joey?" "I'm only bossy when I really wanna do something." Everybody put their dishes away and went to do what needed to be for movie night. There was a knock on the door. Malaya opened the door and said "what do you need ma'am?" The women said "are you Malaya Mercer?" Malaya said "hold on I need to get my mother. Wait here." She shut the door and went to Britney and Jackson's room "hey mom there's an old lady at the door and she knows my name." Britney said "ok honey let's go see who she is." They went back to the front door the women was still there Britney froze when she opened the door "Deloris? How'd you find me?" The women -Deloris- smiled "bow why wouldn't I know where my grandbabies are?" Malaya said "you're not my grandma." Deloris said "oh yes I am honey. I'm Eric's mom." Jackson said "babe who's at the door?" Malaya said "Eric's mom Deloris." Jackson slammed the door shut "that women is not allowed in my house." Jax said "daddy are you ok?" Jackson said "yeah buddy I'm fine. Lets do our movie night." Deloris knocked again "Britney open this door." Jackson said "nobody opens the door." Danielle said "whys she here?" Britney said "I have no idea. Apparently we're ignoring her and going ahead with the movie night plan." Christian said "scary movies?" Joey said "am I the only person who doesn't like scary movies?" Malaya said "its alright baby. You're a just sensitive." Jax said "well I wanna watch scary movies too. So I think we should." Joey and Janelle came out of the kitchen with snacks. Everybody cuddled up to watch Bogeyman 3. Deloris eventually left. Christian and Malaya took a sleeping Jace downstairs. Joey Janelle and Jax followed them. Britney and Jackson made Danielle sleep with them so they could keep an eye on her. Everything was gonna be just fine.

A/N: The next chapter will be the last. I'm gonna jump five years ahead. Janelle and Christian are gonna be 21. Malaya and Joey are 18. Jax is 14 and Jace is 5. I think it's gonna be a happy ending but ya never know with me.
