Ah-ro doesn't know how long it's been. She asked one simple question and the girls seemed to freeze. They both looked in other directions, avoiding her gaze. She's sure atleast a few minutes have passed as she watched her two friends stare off, making expressions as if they were watching something.

It was the events before seeing Ah-ro that caused them to freeze. It would've been fine just telling Ah-ro that they saw her. But how they ended up seeing her was what they didn't want to say.

Finally, they relaxed their shoulders and sat up. Cheonsa looked up and started speaking as if she was offended.

"Mwo? How did we know? Ah-ro, your father is a true-bone. Do you not expect people to say anything?"

Ah-ro looked down in shame and looked back up to also see Kkum nodding her head in agreement with a sympathetic look on her face.

Cheonsa then continued, "Also, do you think we don't have eyes?! We saw what happened! Do you not believe in us?"

Ah-ro was now speechless. She listened to what Cheonsa was saying and Kkum's few inputs of "Yes, yes, that's true!" and "Why, Ah-ro, Why?"

"We patrol Silla, and stroll through Seorabeol too! Of course, we would see you!"

Kkum nodded her head in agreement, "Yup, that's true. "

Ah-ro laughed sheepishly, giving a small apologetic bow to her dramatic friends. She knew they were playing around and she enjoyed seeing them like this.

"Ah, sorry. I guess, I should've known. I didn't know you were patrolling that day. It's just that you usually aren't in that area at that time."

Cheonsa sighed, "It's okay. Something had come up unexpectedly and delayed us."

Kkum nodded her head slowly, squinting her eyes. 'Why didn't we just say that in the first place.'

Ah-ro smiled at her friends and told them to eat. She wanted to spend time with them before she left.

"Where were you last night?" Kkum said, setting down the bowl she was eating from.

Ah-ro's eyes widened and she blinked in surprise.

"M-mwo?"

"Where were you? Obviously, we slept in your room. Where did you sleep if you weren't here?"

Ah-ro became flustered and stuttered for a bit. The daughters of Yeonsu just stared at her waiting for her answer.

Cheonsa sighed, "You don't have to tell us if you don't want to, Ah-ro"

Ah-ro sat up straight, "No, I'll tell you."

The girls listened intently as Ah-ro told them about the pervert she met at Okta, and how she fell asleep there.

"Nothing happened though, right?"

"Ehh, what kind of guy does that. That's so weird."

"It is," Ah-ro said standing up, "Well, I've got to go. There are some clothes you can change into over there. I have a job to do for Pi JooKi."

"Wait! We'll come with you!"

Ah-ro ended up helping Cheonsa and Kkum as they rushed around getting ready. Once their masks were on good the two followed Ah-ro.

Turns out her job was to observe and take notes on the beautiful young sons of Silla's officials.

As horrible as their hiding spots were they weren't spotted by the young men.

Kkum, Ah-ro and Cheonsa stood near a tree that could barely hide one person, let alone three. They watched Danse during archery. Ah-ro took down notes as he released his arrow, hitting the target.
