Okta was filled with many young people dancing around and having fun. In one particular part people crowded around to watch the match between a regular citizen and one of the cities most elite warriors.
A young girl stood in front of her opponent, only a table separating them. She wore a beautiful purple, blue and white hanbok. A white cloth covered the bottom half of her face while the rest was covered by a sedge hat with a black veil. No one knew what she looked like underneath.
She set down the cup she had just used then looked straight at the young man who was not much older than her."You look tired and dizzy. It's obvious that I won." She said with a smirk.
The young man stumbled a bit but managed to still himself using the table and put his cup down a little too harshly. Every word he said sounded forced and like he was out of breath. "No! I will defeat you! I refuse to lose to a girl!"
"You clearly don't understand what you're going up against." Said the companion of the young girl.
In fact, she was a couple years younger than she. Tanner too. She wore a hanbok that was pink, red and white. She also had the same "accessories" and no one knew what she looked like.
Unlike other people they each wore a long robe. The first wore a dark blue robe with a golden Dragon on the back. The other wore a red robe with a golden Phoenix on the back.
These two were elite warriors of Silla. (What? They don't all have to be men)The eldest was Cheonsa and the younger one was Kkum. Both were foreigners but they were raised in Silla by a loyal palace guard who found them at a very young age. He trained them, fed them, raised them, and gave them the names they possess now. To them he became their father no matter how different they look apart from each other.
At this moment Cheonsa was having a drinking contest with one of the city's boys.
"You clearly don't understand that I'm going to win" She told him.
The boy opens his mouth to say something back but before he could, a crash is heard from the other side of the room. All the attention was brought off the match and people were now trying to see what was going on in the opposite side of the room.
The young man turns back with a triumphant grin as if he had just won. "Ha! No one wins!"
"No. I win."
"No."
Cheonsa lifts her hand and flicks his forehead. He easily falls over, unconscious.
"Yes. I win" she says smoothly.
"So fired. Grab everything before they ask for a rematch." Kkum says while grabbing things from the pile of bets people made, then putting it in her satchel.
Cheonsa sluggishly grabs two gold bracelets. Her drunkenness is starting to show now that she doesn't have to concentrate to keep her focus. She holds the bracelets between her fingers as if she were gesturing with them.
"I don't know why you guys bet on this guy." She slurs, "I always win and my fans know it too."
A chorus of "yeah"s could be heard from around them.
"You are all drunk!" Kkum tells them. She then turns to Cheonsa, "You are too with your thirty-six shots!"
"Not even thirty-six! It's thirty-seven. Do you not know how to count?"
