The next day, after school as I was walking on my way home, I decided to come and visit Minami, so instead of me, going home, I went on the other block and walked all the way to Minami's house. As I was near already, I saw her walking towards my way. We saw each other and I said, "Oh, Hi! Where are you going?", then Minami replied, "Oh, hello, Gab! Well I was about to come for you and..". I don't know how exactly to explain what I felt that moment, but when she said that she was coming to meet me, my heart beats so fast like crazy. As we met each other that time, we went to a garden park, which is just a few blocks away. There, I took the opportunity to talk to her, ask her the things that I'd like to ask, and most of all, have some time for her. "Your grandmother, how is she right now?", I asked. "She's still sick, but she's fine. The priest and his friend stopped by yesterday. They gave us goods and medicine for my sick grandmother.", Minami said. I asked Minami about the things that make her grandmother feel happy and well, and she said, "My grandmother feels better when I read books for her, especially books about fairytales. So, I always read books to her every night before we sleep." As we spent time, talking and getting to know each other, she confessed something to me. "I really think that you're a good person. Whenever I think of you, my.. my heart bursts so much like crazy..". After hearing what she said, I was speechless. I don't even know how to react on what she said. Minami and I were both young. My feelings for her, I still don't know how to call it. But, whenever I think about Minami, my heart beats so fast like crazy. After that, we walked back and I walked with Minami up to her house. "Gab, today was really fun. Thanks for your time. Take care..", Minami said. "Oh, sure, you're welcome. I had fun too. I'll.. see you tomorrow?", I replied, and then she said yes while smiling at me. After that I went home with a smile in my face, and joy in my heart. I couldn't sleep well that night, so I just hugged my pillow so hard because of the happiness I felt.
