Part7 - Destiny

The next day, I went to the studio of the TV program, "People Search". I went there as early as I could because a friend of mine told me that a lot of people come in there because they would like to be one of the participants of the program. As I inquired in their search program, the staff of the show told us that the show will be finished soon, due to small ratings. After hearing what the staff said, I went around the studio and asked the other workers where to find their manager. Unfortunately, the manager of the show wasn't around. So, I just left. I kept on contacting "People Search" program. "Hello? Is this the people search program? Oh, first of all I would like to say that this is a really helpful show, you guys help a lot of people. I think that you guys shouldn't close this program yet. Oh and by the way, I'm looking for a very important person, and your show is the only way that I can use for me to find her. So, please don't close the program yet.", I said. After that, many things happened. I finished high school, I went to college and then later on I graduated. A lot of things happened. A lot. 10years flew by. I cultivated a dream to become an actor. After that, I went in an entertainment company to join their auditions. They were looking for someone who could act as a broken hearted man. I did my very best to act. I wasn't acting, it was my reality. I cried the way I did before when I received a news that Minami left already. The producers and the director loved the way I acted. They told me that my acting skills don't fit the 'extra' character in their show, instead, they fired the lead star and they hired me as the main lead star of their show. After a few days, they talked to me and gave me my script. "You act very well, Gabriel. Start reading your scripts. Shooting for the first episode will begin in a few weeks. We'll contact you.", the director said. Okay, so.. what happened to the "People Search" TV program that I wanted to join? I called them several times, but I was unfortunate to convince them not to close the program. Weeks later, shooting for the drama, "Your smile" has begun. It took several weeks before we finished it. Then months later, the first episode of our drama already aired on TV. I was extremely nervous, as to what would be the feedback of the viewers, especially the ratings. Then later on, the first episode was finished. An hour later, the results came in. The first episode was a success. The viewers loved it and the ratings were pretty good. It surprisingly trended on social media. So, what happened to Minami for the past ten years? I still keep on thinking about her. How is she doing? How was life treating her for the past 10years? Is she well? Those were the questions that kept on going in my mind. I miss Minami so much. So it was a rainy afternoon the next day. After another meeting at MD Entertainment, I was walking to go to the parking lot. Before I got there, there was a young lady riding her bike. I think she's looking for a place to stop by, because it was raining so much that time. And she was going towards me and she fell on her bike. "Oh miss, are you alright? Are you hurt?", I said. "I'm okay.", the young lady said. And then she looked at me. And when I looked at her, my heart was beating fast, and I was shocked. "M-minami..?", I whispered. And then she was also surprised when she looked at me.. she was smiling at me. That young lady was surprisingly, Minami. Like a dream, like a movie, Minami and I met again. "Have.. you.. been.. well? And..", well.. I couldn't explain my exact feeling. I was starting to cry when I asked her.. I just couldn't believe that I'll be able to see Minami again. Then we went to a restaurant to have some lunch. There, I spent time with Minami again. Minami was even more prettier. And I couldn't believe that I can't look at her.. I was shy. Yeah, like a kid. My heart was beating everytime I was looking at Minami. I still couldn't believe, that the little girl that I met 10years ago, is a woman right now. And she has come to my life once again.
