Prom will be at four days later. Merissa Nickelson said to herself. But I still don't have a date. Great as hell.

It's kind of hard to imagine that Merissa Nickleson, the dream girl of many boys still doesn't have a date for prom. She's rather popular, and as it is four bloody days before prom, all of her friends----or literally almost everyone has a date. Averie's going with Nick, Harley's going with Jonathan (Merissa is totally shipping them. Totally.), Lindsey's going with Cedric and Destiny decided to go by herself.

It's totally Merissa's fault that she still doesn't have a date yet. 5 boys asked her to go with him, and she rejected him----not because she has a date, obviously----it's because she feels like someone will invite her. Someone that she knows is perfect for her. Someone that she doesn't know. To be honest, she has a thought that who will that guy be. She doesn't want to admit it because if she's correct, her perfect match will be an arrogant toe-rag.

"Misa?" Her mum called her, "Who you're going to prom with?"

She sighed. "I haven't decided yet!"

"What do you mean by you 'haven't decided yet'?" Her very best mum walked to her room and sat by her side.

"I haven't got a date yet." She muttered.

"Merissa, what happened? I know you're popular at school."

"I----" She stopped, how can she explain? 'Oh, I'm waiting for someone I don't know to invite me?' "I think I should go with my friends. Boys are annoying. I don't need a date."

"Okay, Misa. I understand your decision. Your dad and I went to prom, and we're like, normal friends before. But after that night we talked and we get attracted. Then after a few years... you know what's the end," She winked, "I'm just thinking can I get a glimpse of your husband."

Merissa rolled her eyes. "Mum, I'm sleepy. Maybe you can wait for a few years to get a glimpse of my future husband."

"Goodnight Misa."

"Goodnight mum."

Hugh was playing truth or dare with his friends and he never thought this would happen.

"Dare! Never a coward," he said, pretty confident.

Averie Sycamore (crush of his best friend Nick Jenner) walked over and dared him. "I dare you to ask Merissa to go to prom with her. You still don't have a date, right? You can not tell her it's a dare. if she says yes, you two need to go together."

He wasn't scared at all. He knew Nickleson will not say yes. They are rival since the primary, for god's sake. "Okay," he said with that famous smirk on his face.

He confidently walked towards the girls' table. "Merissa Nickleson, will you go to the Prom with me?"

She stood up and stared at him for a good thirty seconds. Her emerald eyes are making him nervous for no reason. Her lips finally moved. "Yes."
