A/N: I promised. I thought part four was the end. But nope, my brain didn't agree with me. There will be a part five. And even maybe a part six. I'm working on it, I really do, and now I reached 2,800 words for this 'one-shot'. Gods. Anyways, thank you for still reading this. I really hope you'll like this chapter. ----XXOO, Waterpurple
Hugh Cantrell never thought the 'lady', aka the person he was truly interested in, was Merissa Nickleson.
The girl in elegant purple dress was nothing like the Merissa Nickleson he knew. She had a sense of humour, she spoke like a philosopher, their thoughts were almost the same.... and when she spoke, she gave him a feeling that made him just want to know more about her.
They looked at each other like they want to see through their masks.
"Should we go now?" She whispered. She, personally, thought that her reaction was weird. However, she didn't have another choice. It was her choice that she said yes.
"Yes."
He linked arms with her like a true 'gentleman' will do.
They walked towards the table his friends (Nick, Cedric and Neal) sat. Her friends, Averie, Lindsey, Destiny and Harley were also there. They were all wearing half masks.
"This is epic. Merissa Nickleson and Hugh Cantrell linking arms," Nick smirked.
"Shut up Jender," She scowled at him, "I never liked you. Now I hate you."
"Why not have a little round of Truth or Dare? It's just boring Waltz music playing now," Averie suggested.
Hugh wanted to say 'no'. However, he knew if he said 'no', he'll be teased and laughed, saying he is a scaredy cat. He remembered her words: 'if they are really your friends, they won't leave you because you're not 'cool'. She squeezed his arm (yes, they are still linking arms. They should let go when they arrived the table, right? But Hugh didn't want to let go), and shook her hand.
"Well, of course," He said with a fake confident. He could feel her head turned and her eyes gazing at him. Or more accurately, wanted to burn his head with her eyes.
Nick, Cedric and Neal looked at each other (he didn't know how they managed to look at each other while having their masks on). Her friends looked at Merissa as if they are doing some secret mission. "Okay, Truth or Dare, Hugh?"
She squeezed him tighter. He guessed that meant 'If you choose dare, they'll kill you or I'll kill you afterwards'.
His friends looked at him with a playful smirk (aka the trademark of them). "Dare."
She let go of his arm, standing an inch away from him.
"I dare you to kiss Merissa Nickleson," Nick added, "On lips."
She immediately jumped another inch away from him.
Nick shrugged like nothing happened. "It's a dare. You need to follow the rules."
He stared at her.
The beautiful girl that he grew interested in her after a short five minutes conversation.
His rival for 12 years.
The girl that gave him mixed feelings now.
He looked at her, suddenly realising after this prom, they may never contact or meet again.
It may be the last Truth or Dare they play.
It may be the last time his friends tease him about his rival, always claiming they are in love.
If he really does that dare, it's now, or never.
So he did it.

Their friends cheered like a banshee.
Luckily, prom was noisy. Everyone was shouting, yelling, talking, no one cared about them.
The only person he cared about now was Merissa Nickleson.
It was hard to read her emotions under the full mask she wore. He could only catch a glimpse of her feelings from her trembling lips and sky blue eyes.
"You... just..." He almost couldn't hear her weak voice because of the noisiness.
