Let's Meet Ryley!

Chapter Six: Secret Exposed

The crew shot up the elevator in the robot. Mark had met up with them. Once to the top, The four of them got into position. Co captain had kept her distance. Whenever the guys looked back, she hid. By the time they were gone, she came out. Ryley saw something amazing happen. In that moment, the robot was powered up as it rose to the top of the ferry. She watched in astonishment as she headed back outside.
Mech X4 had taken off. The young lady had followed the machine with her skate board. Where ever they were going, she was coming with. The destination wasn't far considering that the monster was walking everywhere. It's sighting was not hard to spot either. Once it saw the Mech however, it growled with anger. The hatred was so deep that it was evil.

"Ice cannon!" Ryan shouted.

"Got it!" Spyder replied.

Using the mechanic side arm, the weapons specialist was locked in. He, along with Ryan, pulled the arm back. He pushed it with great strength as the pilot aimed at the target. The monster, though being effected by it, was not on the floor. Once the ice cleared, you could see the monster back in action.

"Rapid fire!" Ryan called.

"Yup!" Mark responded.

He hit the button on the wall. It brought up the cannon arm. The teen pulled back once again and took a shot at the beast. BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! The monster had bruises the size of Canada once it was hit. The force and sound of the shots were so loud you could hear it in your sleep.

"And that's how the cannon goes!" Spyder yelled.

However, the monster was still on its feet. It charged at the Mech with. It pounced and tumbled with the robot onto the ground. Some sparks went off as the technopath had to hold off the threat. A punch was attempted by the kid, but the monster blocked it. Same came with when the beast took a shot at it.
Ryley was viewing the whole entire fight. Though not having any power of her own, she knew that the person controlling the robot was having a ball. She saw how the two opponents wrestled with each other. People were scared to death in their houses. And that's normal, but Ryley was just...stunned.

"He's fighting really hard!" Spyder stated loudly.

"Geez, we didn't know that. Thanks!" Mark snapped sarcastically.

"Shields up?!" Harris screamed.

"Shields up!" Ryan replied.

The monster bounced off the machine as the fifteen year old got back on his feet. He saw the monster do the same as they charged at one another. They met in the middle. The creature's fists were captured by the Mech's hands. It was covering them as monster tried to push forward.

"X weapon!" Ryan shouted.

"Ready!" The others retorted.

The buttons appeared as Harris, Mark, and Spyder pushed them down. The device in the back had rose up as Ryan got into position.
He was lifted up in his harness as he power from the weapon infused through his body. His eyes were dark blue as the red X appeared in front of his chest.
The beast was blown back and sent away from the robot. As it flew back, Ryley watched. The ooze splattered everywhere and nearly hit her. The young lady moved just in time though. She saw the robot stand there. It looked like it was proud, but then again it didn't have a face. The cheerleader walked on front of the machine and looked up.

"Yeah!" Spyder hollered.

He and Harris high fived as Ryan had gotten up. The X weapon drains him for some time, so he needed to take it easy. Mark had climbed down, just as happy as everyone else. And their little celebration could be heard from down below.

"Hey! Down here! Hello?! Guys?!" Ryley yelled.

The guys didn't see the monitor. The girl went to the foot of the robot. Foot as in...actual foot. She sat on it while looking around. She sighed.

"That rapid fire weapon was awesome." The pilot stated.

"Yeah. I'll have to look over it. I think I can make it stronger." Harris replied.

Ryan nodded. He turned back around to view the outside world. He felt something on the robot's foot, so he shook it off. Ryley hit the dirt and grass. She spit some of it out as she got up. She wiped her shirt off as she looked up. That annoyed her.

"Yo! Watch who you throw!" Ryley scolded.

That voice. Ryan and the others looked at one another. It was all too familiar.

"Your lucky I'm rich, Walker!" The girl shouted once more.

The pilot slowly looked back. On the monitor, the team saw a girl with her arms crossed. She was looking up at them. They all knew who she was. Question was, why was she here?

"Ryley?" Ryan asked.

"No, I'm Beyonce. Yes it's Ryley! Who the heck do you think your throwing? I felt dirt in my lungs man! And some grass went in my shirt! This is why you don't throw people!" Ryley roared.

Spyder whistled, Harris backed away, and Mark was just amused. Ryan's eyes were huge with shock...and a little fright.

"Now let me up. I need a towel and I've got some questions." Ryley stated.

Ryan quickly looked to his team. Spyder nodded, Harris was undecided, but Mark was shaking his head. He was mouthing the word "no". He continued to do so as Ryan sighed. He lifted his foot, causing Ryley to look confused. He landed the foot on her, which shot her up in the elevator.
While on the way up, she screamed. It felt like being on a rollercoaster. Which meant she enjoyed it. Once it stopped, the young lady stepped out. After being greeted with a puff of white smoke, she walked towards the center of the room.

"Okay first off, that elevator rocks." Ryley started.

Her smile dropped after that statement. The pilot was not at ease.

"And second, what the heck was that? That fight was legit, but the lying is not. You've got a half hour before I flip." Ryley warned.

The guys glanced at one another. Ryan sighed as he faced back at her. She was clearly pissed, which made the atmosphere that much worse. The girl crossed her arms as she waited for a response. Not really knowing what to say, the technopath was silent. Ryley looked at them all.

"Well?" She demanded.

Spyder gulped.

"You hair looks pretty." He complicated.

Ryley blinked at him as the others gave him a weird look. She shook her head as she turned to head out. She was only a few feet away from the door before she was stopped.

"Ryley wait!" Ryan called.

The cheerleader turned around and faced her friend.

"What? Because since you won't tell me anything, why should I stay?" Ryley asked.

"Your right. Get out." Mark ordered with a smile.

Ryan and the others shot him a glare.

"Okay fine. But this is big." The teen informed.

Ryley nodded as she walked back over. Ryan shoved his hands in his pockets.

"We're Mech X4." He revealed.
