**Cole's POV**
As soon as Jared says my name I creep down the wall and I slowly get away from the window. When the coast is clear of Jared I make a mad dash back to my house. I get home and I slam the door shut behind me; lock it. I sit down behind the door and breath in and out. My mom comes running down the hallway.
"Cole are you okay? Was someone running after you?" She asks.
I shake my head no and she smiles. She kisses me on the forehead
"I'm heading back upstairs if you need me."
Her footsteps are loud on the stairs and she closes the door behind her. I go to my room and shut the door behind me. I fall on my bed. Jared doesn't trust me as much as he uses to.
I mean after all the secrets and the lies. He labeled Savannah as a freak for god's sake. The guy had his issues believe me. He's human and has a heart somewhere in that body. I end up falling asleep and I wake up hours later. It's now almost midnight; I get up from my bed. The rain pounces on the windows. I sigh, rain again.
I swear I see a shadow dance on my closet door. I freeze. My heart is racing.
"Who's there?" I sound like an idiot. From the dark of the night, I can see just a little bit of the figure through the light of the moonlight.
I almost shit my pants. When the figure notices me that I acknowledge who it is it comes at me. It's Jared, he pushes me to the ground as hard as he can.
Leaving me breathless. He sits on top of me, and duct tapes my mouth. He takes a rope and ties it around my hands; he grabs me. Taking one more time he throws the rope away. I am mouthing and being loud. Jared slaps me across the face and we head down the hallway out the front door. I am still loud as fuck to where people can hear me. I see Jared's black truck and he opens the back door; throws me in there.
Kris and Tyler are here with me, but no duct tape. Jared gets in, and he starts the car. He pulls out of the drive away and we disappear into the night. Jared turns to me as the first stoplight comes and shoots daggers at me.
"Look what you made me do," Jared says he turns back around and drives away.
