Chapter 12 - What's done is done

**Savannah's POV**

I lay my head down on my bed and turn over. My chest is aching with pain for crying, for hours. My best friend is gone, she's never coming back, if only I knew what really happened. If only she told me her secrets.

She's dead.

dead

if only Emily had recorded what happened to her, if only she told me. If only...Maybe it wasn't Jared like Cole says. I mean he interrogated the douche-bag but it wasn't him. I couldn't wrap my head about this situation. it's been about almost two weeks since, Emily's death.

Maybe it was suicide. 

Suicide

My blood starts to boil, there is no way in the world Emily could've done that to herself. no way. My chest aches still as I hug my pillow against it. It will never be known to who did it, or why it happened.

So many why's

I miss her, I miss her a lot, I miss her laugh,smile, her blue eyes that sparkled, just everything. God I miss her. She meant the world to me, and someone took her away from me. Maybe she did to herself. Maybe the cops were right.

Maybe it wasn't anybody and me; Cole were just shifting the blame on other people to make us think that it wasn't her but them. I start crying again, the tears were flowing down my face. I felt so broken, and lost without her. it's like I can't think straight without her I  can't do anything without her. I know I have to move on eventually. Move on from the pain the past and just let go. 

Sometimes it's really hard to let go, and move on from pain. Difficult almost, especially if it's someone you love and want back. Back...

BACK

Then it hits me like a truck, back Emily had a backdoor in her house, the cops couldn't find any sign of break in but, the hill family never had a lock on their backdoor. They must've, gone through it. I know it.

I get up from pouting and crying my heart; wash up my face. I put on some fresh clean clothes and a nice shirt. I get on my shoes. Heading outside my mother stops me.

"Honey, what are you doing?" My mom says rubbing her eyes. 

"Mom, I'm heading to Emily's house I'll be back at noon" I tell her, she looks at me and raises her eyebrow.

"Savannah it's six o'lock in the morning are you serious?" My mother asks. I get in my car without answering her question and I drive away.

at Emily's house

I head in the driveway and park my car. I can see that Cole has gotten my texts assuming his car is here. Cole opens the front door and looks out.

"There you're come quick Savannah"  Cole shouts. I get out of my car and dash to the front door. Opening it I can still see Emily. I bit my lip and try to hold back the tears. Jared is in the living room where it all happened. I look at Cole, then at Jared and I try to walk away. Cole stops me.

"Savannah listen I know he's a complete douche but, give him a chance, please." Cole says to me. I'm holding back the tears and let go of my lip. I shoot dagger eyes at Jared, he rolls his. I look at the back door and my eyes go dark.

"SAVANNAH?" Cole shouts. Everything is swirling and dizzy. He's grey and rainbow-like.

That's when everything went dark.

and I kept falling.
