9. hello again

(A/N: I changed the name of the female lead to Kim Bae Eun.)

YOON JISUNG

Laura explained the details of my job while we were walking, and led me into an elevator. She tapped on the sixth floor's button.

"Ah, I almost forgot." She suddenly turned around, causing me to flinch. Luckily she didn't notice it and continued what she was about to say, if not I'd be very embarrassed.

"Our office is on the sixth floor. The whole floor is ours, actually." She spoke casually, as if it's nothing to be shocked about.

The elevator made a "ding" sound, and opened its door.

We both exited it, and walked in silence.

I slightly examined Laura. She has long, wavy dark hair, and wore glasses. Her heels produced sounds which rang through the empty white themed hallway. Her face figures are fine, you can say that she is pretty.

Bae Eun is prettier in my opinion, tho. Wait, what-

I shook my head, throwing the weird thought away.

"We're here."

Without realizing, we already reached the office. I let in a deep breath, knowing this will be the place where I work in in the future.

KIM BAE EUN

"Oh my god Bae Eun guess what I just found out that the new person is joining our team!" This was what Chaeri told me the moment when she returned from washing the mugs from earlier.

Just when I opened my mouth to speak, Yura talked.

"OH MY GOD REALLY?!"

I saw Chan throwing shade at Yura, and Yura did a "do it again and I'll fight you" gesture back to him, and then they started their daily childish fight. These two are just like Tom and Jerry, sigh.

"Well good news then, it won't be too boring during work now that someone is joining us." Min says, flipping through the files on her table.

"Why do you think it's boring though?" Chaeri asks, walking next to Min and leaned on her chair, eyes wandering through the files. "I think our job is pretty fun."

"Fun, but not when there's nothing to do but you still have to stay in the office until 5 pm everyday." I voiced out my opinion, and Min nodded, agreeing.

"Right," Chaeri replied perfunctorily, not really agreeing but still stopped her talk.

The office's door was opened suddenly while we were doing our stuff. (Yura and Chan still messing with each other, of course.)

We all averted our attention to the door, turns out it's Laura and a guy, probably the new designer that's joining us.

Laura led him inside.

"Good morning everyone," Laura started as she smiles, "We have a new person joining us today." She then stepped aside and let the person introduce himself.

I had a better view of the guy, and he looked somehow very familiar. Just like... Jisung? I squinted my eyes a little, trying to read the name on his workers id card.

Turns out, he really is Jisung.
