10. welcome!

YOON JISUNG

When I was I introducing myself, I saw a rather familiar face. The face that belongs to the woman that lives next to me, Bae Eun.

I'm shook, of course. I didn't expect to see her here.

The world really is small after all.

"-sung- Jisungssi!" I snapped back to reality, Laura's smiling face could be seen, "Come on, let me show you your place."

"Oh, okay. Thank you." I followed her.

She stopped in front of a plain white desk, it is empty, nothing is on it. Behind it is the scenery of Seoul, and all the desks are separated.

"This is your place, you can decorate it as you want." Laura gestured at the desk, "That's all for now, I have some work left to do. Feel free to ask me or the others if you have any questions. Once again, welcome to the designing department!"

I gave her a smile as reply, and began to observe my new workplace. The desk has 3 drawers, two small and a big one. It is bigger compared to my last office, to be honest. There's a black moveable cushion chair in front of it, and a mini white rubbish bin down the desk.

"Hi," A familiar voice came from behind as I was observing the material of the table, I looked behind to see Bae Eun.

"Oh, hi." I greeted her, smiling. "I didn't know you work here."

"I didn't know that you're gonna work here, too." She says, "Leave all the observing and decorating later, let me introduce you to the others first."

Before I was able to give a reply, she dragged me away from my place.

KIM BAE EUN

"He's handsome," Chaeri nudged my arm and pointed to a direction after gaining my attention, "but not my type, ha."

My eyes followed to the direction she's pointing at, which leads to Jisung, that is currently talking with Laura.

"Yea," I replied, and then decided to help Jisung with the introductions. I walked towards him.

"I wonder what does he specializes in... Hey! Where are you going to?"

"This is Chaeri," I introduced as I pointed at Chaeri. The latter smiled, and raised her eyebrow at me, probably asking me if I already know Jisung. I ignored her and continued.

"She does landscape design."

Jisung nodded.

"You guys already know each other?" Chaeri asks Jisung, giving up about making me explain about this.

"Yes, we are neighbours," Jisung smiled, his eyes curving, "I didn't expect to see her here, to be honest."

I nodded, agreeing with Jisung.

"Oh, I see." Chaeri then made a face to me, "Good luck matey."

That made me confused, but I decided to continue with the introductions anyways.

I led him to Min. "This is Min. She does the exterior designs." Min raised her head upon hearing me, nodded to Jisung, not planning to smile, still expressionless just like her usual self.

"Just for your information, my full name is Park Min Ae." She added. She sticks out her hand for a handshake, "Nice to meet you."

Jisung returned it, "Nice to meet you too."

Min then continued doing whatever she was doing, ending the short introduction.

I brought him to Yura, and also Chan. They are just right beside each other, making things easier for me. (eyy)

"This is Yura, she does interior designing too, just like us." I introduced Yura to him, Yura smiling as I spoke.

"Kim Yura." She says while winking at Jisung. The latter laughed awkwardly in response.

"And this is Chan." I gestured to Chan.

"Full name's Lee Jung Chan. I do both exterior and landscape design. Feels good to know that I won't be the only guy at here starting today." Chan says in a joking tone, his eyes looking kind of serious, ironically.

"Be careful of her, she's the carnivorous type of girl." Chan tells Jisung while glancing at Yura, and then earned a smack from her. The fight now starts again.

I quietly pulled Jisung and escaped from the childish duo, better not involve ourselves in that.

As I was preparing a cup of coffee for Jisung, I heard a chuckle coming from my side, turned around only to see him laughing softly.

"Are they always like that?" He asked, pointing at the fighting duo outside.

"Yea, they are." I replied, can't help but smile at his reaction. "I also asked the same thing to Laura when I first joined the department."

He took the coffee and took a sip, a satisfied look appearing on his face, "When did you join the company?" He asked.

"About two years ago."

He counted with his fingers, seconds later raising his head with a shocked expression on his face.

"Wow, you got your designer's license when you were so young."

I chuckled, "Yeah, kind of."
