Flameheart pushed away a Leafclan warrior and hissed at him. She looked around
"The battle has ended so has someone's last life" Lionheart, her brother, told her. Flameheart was the deputy of Dawnclan and immediately understands what he told her
"DAPPLESTAR!!!" She wailed and ran to his dying body.
"Why didn't you tell me that this was your last life?" She wailed and put her head on his chest.
"Take care of Dawnclan." Dapplestar whispered and Flameheart shook her head
"I can't! I'm not ready to take care of Dawnclan!" She said and saw the light had faded from his eyes. Lionheart, Rainstrike and Snowcloud, her three litter mates walked over to her and soothed her as she caressed Dapplestar's unmoving body
"Please dont leave me." She whispered and kept repeating it over and over again until Rainstrike sighed
"It's time to get back to Dawnclan." She told Flameheart. Flameheart nodded and picked up Dapplestar. Lionheart helped her carry him to camp and Mappleleaf, Dapplestar's sister, came running over
"Dapplestar!" She wailed and tried to make Flameheart let him go. She did but Lionheart dragged Dapplestar along. She saw Lionheart place his body in the middle of the clearing. The whole clan came out and each said a goodbye to their leader then the elders carried his body out to be buried. Flameheart heard paw steps and saw Snowcloud looking at her with traveling herbs in his mouth. Flameheart quickly ate them and got prepared for the moonpool. She paced around the clearing with her litter mates watching her, even Snowcloud who is blind. She knew that she was about to have to go to the moonpool now but she was super nervous. Snowcloud walked over to her
"Time to go." He said and she followed him out of the clearing. Later they were making their way through Stormclan so they could get to the moonpool. A patrol stopped them and Fanglight hissed at her
"Get out of our clan trespassers!!" He yowled. Flameheart knew he was a new warrior and saw Morningshine step out from behind him
"I understand that your trying to get to the Moonpool. We have heard the news that Dapplestar had died." She said softly and sent them away
"May Starclan help guide you!" Morningshine yowled to them after they had started walking away again. They got to the moonpool and Flameheart tensed.
"Take a drink and sleep." Snowcloud told her and Flameheart obeyed. She slept and woke up in Starclan surrounded by 9 warriors from Dawnclan.
"Welcome Flameheart." A cat she didn't recognize said
"Dreamstar! That's your name." Flameheart said and Dreamstar pressed her nose against Flameheart's
"This live I give for kindness. Use it well and only when needed." Dreamstar said and Flameheart gasped as a wave of pain went through her. They went through the others and stopped at the last one
"Dapplestar." She whispered and Dapplestar put his nose against hers
"This life I give is for loyalty. Use it when needed." He said and another flash of pain went through her. She gasped and saw Dapplestar pull back.
"We welcome you Flamestar, leader of Dawnclan." He said and Flamestar woke up. She looked at Snowcloud and shifted her weight on her paws so he knew she was up
"Are you ok Flameheart." He asked and Flamestar shook her head
"No. Flameheart is not ok. Flameheart is now Flamestar." She said and stood up
"Let's go." She said
