Flameheart to Flamestar

Chapter 5

"What?" Lionheart asked.

"You heard me. The dark forest is rising again." Flamestar said and paced in front of them.

"I thought the dark forest was defeated forever." Snowcloud said while they watched her pace.

"Things can be defeated and destroyed but they can rise again." Flamestar said calmly but she was scared inside. She saw a starry pelt beside her and jumped when Dapplestar spoke

"You need to tell all the clans about the prophecy." He told her and her little ages were staring at Dapplestar in shock so they could see him too.

"Dapplestar?" Lionheart asked and stood up. "

Are we dreaming?" Rainstrike asked.

"How can I see?!" Snowcloud asked with wide eyes.

"It's the special powers from the prophecy." Dapplestar said

"Flamestar can you hear Whitestar?" Dapplestar said and Flamestar nodded

"I can hear a lot of other cats too." She said and Dapplestar nodded

"That's your special power. Lionheart can never get beaten or hurt in battle. Snowcloud can see in dreams and walk into other dreams and read their minds. Rainstrike has the power of seeing cats that none other can see. Rainstrike you will be able to see the Starclan and Dark forest cats when no other cat can see them. Even if they don't want you to see them." Dapplestar said and the four looked at him

"But you never told me that we had powers." Flamestar said and was trying to control her searching mind.

"I know but the knowledge of powers weren't for then it's for now." Dapplestar said.

"So the dark forest is rising?" Snowcloud asked and Dapplestar nodded.

"Tigerstar never died in the great battle. He is bringing up the dark forest." Dapplestar said and Flamestar hissed

"All those cats died for nothing!" She hissed and dug her claws into the ground.

"I know. I'm sorry Flamestar." He said and they woke up. Flamestar turned to Rainstrike and Rainstrike shook her head

"Dapplestar is gone." Rainstrike said and Flamestar flattened her ears

"Lets get back to camp." She sighed and started walking away. Her litter mates followed behind her and she turned around

"Nobody will know about the prophecy until the next Gathering." She said and they nodded. She walked into camp and saw it was late. She sighed and looked into the starry sky. Her litter mates sat next to her and they huddled together. They all looked into the sky

"Help guide us and lead us to safety." Flamestar said to Starclan then walked away. She ran into her den and closed her eyes. She couldn't sleep and her mind kept running through the other clans. She heard Whitestar's slow and steady breathing. Flamestar closed her eyes and finally fell asleep. She woke up and ran down the highledge. She passed Lionheart and started running. She could feel something was wrong. Lionheart ran after her

"Rainstrike and Snowcloud come on!" He yowled at them and they ran after him. Flamestar ran a little faster and out of the camp. She jumped over a fallen tree and stopped at the lake

"Something is wrong. I know there is something wrong." She said and walked the lake border.

"Starclan cats. Right there." Rainstrike said and pointed with her nose to the middle of the lake. Rainstrike began to speak with the Starclan warriors. Flamestar's eyes widened when Rainstrike started to walk into the water.

"Rainstrike!" She yowled when she disappeared underwater.

"Rainstrike I'm coming!" She yowled and took a deep breath. She jumped into the water and grabbed Rainstrike. She pulled her back onto shore and stood over her

"What were you doing?!" She hissed.

"The Starclan warriors told me to walk into the water and not swim just walk." Rainstrike said and looked horrified

"That was dark forest cats!" She hissed and walked off her. Rainstrike looked out of the lake

"I had no idea." Rainstrike said. Flamestar turned to where she was looking

"Show yourselves!" She hissed and Starclan warriors appeared by her side

"Show yourselves! Now!" She yowled and the Dark forest warriors appeared. Tigerstar.

"The dark forest is rising. You won't win!" Mapleshade yowled and they disappeared gone. Flamestar couldn't see the Starclan warriors or The dark forest warriors

"They are all gone." Rainstrike said. Flamestar nodded

"The camp is missing us. We better get back." She said

"Be prepared for the Gathering tomorrow. We are all going." Flamestar said
