"Argh! No! Please stop! Let go of me!" I heard a scream from my bed. I saw Kurt tossing around and struggling as if trying to break free from something or someone.
'Not that dream again.' I thought as I hurried over to him.
"Hey hey," I said softly, shaking him awake. "It's okay now. I'm here and nothing is going to hurt you." I continued as I tried to wake him from his nightmare.
Kurt forced his eyes open. There's a sign of fear in them as he scanned around. I covered my hands over his ears and made him looked at me. His eyes were wide opened as I closed in to kiss his forehead.
"It's okay now." I repeated. "Go back to sleep. It's passed midnight. And we don't want you to look like a panda tomorrow right?" I said and embraced him.
He hold me tight, not letting me go. "It's okay now." I said again as I patted the back of his head. After about five minutes, he loosen his gripped and nodded his head.
I laid him back to his pillow and moved over to the other side of the bed. I put my hand over his forehead and hold his hand. Then I sang a lullaby softly as he hold my hand back in return. After a while, I sensed that he had loosen his gripped. I knew he had fallen back to sleep, so I moved away and put the covers back over him.
I kissed his forehead once more before going back to read the rest of my book.
