C H A P T E R N I N E -
C H A N G E O F H E A R TWhen I opened the door to our house, I was suprised.
After visiting Vincent, he insisted on driving me home. I declined the offer but he beated me to the odds. I didn't even realized I was in Vincent's house for so long. We talked about a lot of things---mostly the drama.
Apparently, he was excited when he found out he was one of the main protagonists--except he's the pity guy at the end.
Anyway when the living room was in view, I was greeted by Marco's face. He glanced at the door and to me, his eyes pierced angrily back at mine. I cautiously stepped inside like it was a bomb field; one wrong step and he would explode.
I looked away, his cold hard stare was enough to make me melt. "What are you doing here?"
"I should ask you first; where were you?" he said with annoyance.
My eyes shot to his, feeling insulted. "Why do you care anyway? You're not my mother and I don't have to tell you anything."
He scoffed, rolling his eyes at me and crossed his arms. I'm screwed. "That does not answer my question, Butterfly."
"Fine," I scoffed. "I was at Vince--"
His eyes narrowed."So you decided to yourself you were excused to the practice just because you wanted to play with Vincent?"
"That's not what h-----"
"I can't believe you. Are you really that immature and reckless?!" he gritted his teeth, eyeing me with distaste.
"I handed him the freaking hand-outs for today!" I exclaimed, feeling really insulted that he dared judge me without knowing anything.
I glared at him. "Why are you here anyway? As far as I know we don't have a business dinner and I sure as know you aren't here to just scold me."
He sighed, looking away. "You were gone so Holly took it upon me to help you practice your lines--as if you'll get any better anyway."
"That's rude," I frown at him. "--but whatever."
///
"She loves you, you love her, so what's holding you both?!" I read the lines for Jenny, the dumb blonde--them and stereotyping blondes.
Marco held both my shoulders, just like how the script told us."I can't be with her! I will just hurt her!".
My eyes gazed at Marco."You love her don't you? If you do then show your feelings, if you both keep your feelings both of you will just hurt each other."
Marco spontaneously pulled me in a hug, his head rested on the blade of my shoulders with his breathing on my bare skin, making shiver shot up my spine. "Sorry."
"That isn't your line," I murmured, feeling my breath caught when he's so close to me.
He snickered. "You know you're really dumb. You'll totally ace the Jenny character."
"I said I'm sorry, alright?" he said softly in a deep tone.
I blinked, my cheeks defiantly turning red. "What are you apologizing for?"
He pulled us apart from the hug as he glanced at me in exasperation, then proceeds to lift his hand and flicks his finger to my temple. I winch and rubbed the spot he flicked his finger on.
He pulled out his tongue. "Stupid."
///
"I'm tired," I yawned, stretching my arms as far as I could.
"Aren't you gonna go home yet Marco?" I glanced at Marco sitting in the opposite side as mine.
He shook his head. "Maybe later, just go to sleep."
I grew embarrassed. "Just go home will you?" I forced him.
He looked away and glanced at the windows. "I'm fine. Plus there's an increasing rate of molesters around, wouldn't want the molester to regret touching you."
I shot a brow upward. "What's that got to do with you not going home?"
"Just go to sleep!" he hissed, finally giving me an annoyed glare.
"No!" I protested, biting the insides of my cheeks.
"You leave me no choice," there was sinister laced in his voice and I was starting to get a little scared.
I stood up from my chair stepping away from him. He stood up and walked closer to me. I took a step back and while we were doing that, my heart was racing so fast and my breath shorten; I was lost for words.
When I took another step back I let out a gasp when my back was already pressed further on the wall. My cheeks grew fury red. I feel so helpless.
He stepped closer until he was towering against my figure. Without any warning, he grabbed ahold of my waist and hoistened me then he walked us towards my bed and dropped me on the mattress, earning a creak sound.
When things couldn't get worst, he climb onto my bed and was on top of me. His hands were at my sides as he stared at me with such intensity.
I swear the only thing I could hear was the beat of my heart; it was deafening and my cheeks grew hotter and redder than before. Sweat started to form on my forehead. He leant closer, eyes never leaving mine, closer and closer until I couldn't take it anymore.
He was so close. I could feel his breath on my face. I tried to lift my hands but they shook with fear and dropped restless on the bed. The silence lingered before I felt something damp on my nose.
I flutter my eyes opened and watched as I almost fainted when his lips pecked on my nose. It was quick before he was back on his feet and stood away from the bed like nothing happened.
I breathe with difficulty--I was practically wheezing. I looked away. "Sleep."
I nodded. I didn't have the strength to fight with him when he just suddenly kissed my nose. I swear that was the closest we ever were. I pulled my duvet up, covering until my nose. I turned my back against him as I try to close my eyes.
I could feel as his eyes gazed at my back, my heart couldn't take his vile actions against me.
So I just closed my eyes and wished I could enter dreams by now.
